FUNDING SUPPORT
SKylight’s Funding Officer can support with:
X Setting up a group – help with a constitution or other documents
X Searching for funding
X Writing your first funding bid – advice and examples of bids
X “Critical Friend” –reading over your bid before you submit it.
X Opportunities to meet funders –large “Funding the Future” event and smaller “Coffee Table” events.
Before you make a grant bid, you will need:
X A group of people with ideas. Funders tend to fund groups, not individuals
X A bank account in the name of the group with two signatories
X A constitution (written rules of your group) – including a “dissolution clause”
X At least three people who will play the roles chair, treasurer and secretary
