Parking Lot Gang The Parking Lot Gang will be popping up our pantry at Praise The Lord Ministries in South St. Pete on March 13, 2021, alongside Celebrate Outreach. Celebrate Outreach will provide food packages that include a hot, nourishing breakfast and supplemental food for the next day or two. PLG will be honored to provide new clean clothes to anyone who needs them. We will also be providing hygiene items and "to go" food, that can be eaten at a later time with no prep necessary.

HOUSE OF MINISTRY MEETING SUNDAY, MARCH 14, 2021 12:30 PM ZOOM FROM THE CHAPEL MEETING URL: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82414162250 We will be experimenting with doing the Zoom Meetings from the Chapel now. I realize that while we are in COVID it is hard for some to attend the Meetings or Training in Person. Once we are COVID free, the goal is still to conduct the Zoom Meetings so that those that are out of the area may still participate in any Meeting or Training that we have. Live Streaming Meetings and Training is fine, but you do not get the immediate feedback or participation like you would via Zoom.

Daylight Savings Time Begins Sunday, March 14th But, Please set it on Saturday Or you will miss church *******************************************************************************************************

Starting May 1, 2021, St. Teresa's CCC will be looking for a new Liturgy Minister. If you feel you are up to the challenge, please contact Jim Villafana or and Father Victor at St. Teresa Church. LOOKING FOR NEW ACOLYTES (Altar Servers) TRAINEES. Please contact Jim Villafana @727-288-6177 From the House of Ministry Moderator Father Victor about once a month will ask me how do we increase church attendance? This question has been asked before COVID has affected our lives, so, it is not a new question. I recently read a survey that the church attendance is broken down as such: 7% are members you already maintain, 11% are persons that you will never get no matter what you do, and the 82% that are left are those that are seeking and searching for information. We all know that there are a lot of religious facilities closing left and right lately. So, grabbing a piece of that 82% you would think should be easy. Saint Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Community statistics on marketing that you may not be aware of: Facebook for the month of January average is 946 views, Website for the month of January average is 579 views, Gazette is an average of 150 views per issue, Video Media referencing website averages 100 monthly. Adding up just what we do through everyday marketing, we are reaching about 1,775 persons. If they like what they have experienced, they will tell on average 3-10+ people or more. As you can see by just the small amount of information that we send out, we can get a sampling of the 82% that are seeking and searching for information. Ok, why am I telling you all this? We at Saint Teresa have 2 basic dilemmas. The First dilemma is that information is not reaching all our marketing platforms. If it is only on the website, it is only reaching 579 people and not the other 1,200+. The Second dilemma is there is no information available. Why is this a problem? I had to drop the Gazette to once a month because of no new information. The website has dropped several pages due to lack of new information. The bulletin has been reduced due to lack of information. Facebook has dropped viewership. If you want to attract volunteers or donations to your Ministries, letting people know what is going on gathers attention. There is not one Ministry that should not be using all the resources available. For example (I am not picking on them) but you would think the Card Ministry would not need this information. If the Card Ministry, let us say, would give stats on how many cards that were sent out a month, for what purpose those cards are sent out for, and some comments they have received. They would be surprised by the gratitude of people who would donate cards, stamps, whatever they needed. What is the phrase “Pay It Forward!” I by no means am trying to tell you how to run your Ministries. The only way to “Build Our Church” and “Make A Difference” is to attract a slice of that 82% who are SEEKING AND SEARCHING FOR INFORMATION! I talk a lot about reaching the 82% which would make our Ministries easier to manage both physically and financially. We also must make sure that the 7% who are already members of the congregation are knowledgeable about the needs of the church. Is the information reaching all? William Schwartz, H.O.M. Moderator
