A special shout-out to Kelly Daily-Melcher , our Coworker of the Year ! Kelly, your commitment to excellence and unwavering support of your colleagues truly sets you apart. Your contributions have been invaluable, and we are all incredibly grateful to have you on our team.
Thank you all for your inspiring work. Keep up the amazing work!

JANUARY & AUGUST 2024
WHAT’S YOUR GUILTY PLEASURE TRAVEL SPLURGE?
Local art from where I travel – but also, I’m heart-rock obsessed, so I always try to find one in nature for my trip to feel complete.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE WAY TO RELAX AFTER A LONG WORKDAY?
Without a doubt, walking down to the nearby lagoon to catch the sunset with my bestie, Winston! (my dog lol)
Melody is the calm presence in the midst of the storm! She always provides helpful guidance and quick replies while managing a fabulous Tech Team . We rely on Mel to help us through a variety of challenges on a daily basis. She not only answers the questions for us, but explains the why behind the answer so we can better understand the situation at hand.
WHAT’S ONE ITEM YOU ALWAYS PACK IN YOUR CARRY-ON?
I always pack Beekeeper’s Naturals Throat Spray in my carry-on to keep my immunity boosted while traveling (An absolute must during Conference!)
I love going to a yoga class in the evening to unwind after a long day. (If it’s been a stressful day then a yin yoga flow is exactly what I need!)
Ariana’s always willing to go above and beyond her normal job duties and no task is too big – she loves a challenge . Ariana came into Signature, learned her job quickly and immediately implemented changes to managing the hosted program that would streamline her workflow and allow her to work more efficiently . She goes above and beyond for our hosts on a daily basis (who all LOVE her) and is always very professional and communicative .
IF YOU COULD ONLY VISIT ONE COUNTRY FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, WHERE WOULD IT BE?
Spain, because I’m Spanish and I would love to immerse myself in all things Spanish.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT WORKING AT SIGNATURE?
The integrity, compassion, and thoughtfulness of upper management.
Karen has gone above and beyond in helping to train a new employee in the tech department. This is something she was tasked with as a special request (as this does not fall inside her regular responsibilities). Karen has approached this with an attention to detail and a positive attitude , even though this request makes it a challenge to meet her own responsibilities (which grow at a very fast pace)! Thank you to Karen for her always willing and generous spirit
WHAT’S ONE THING YOU’VE LEARNED FROM A COWORKER THAT STUCK WITH YOU?
Shannon Garrett’s CONFIDENCE , especially whenever she is on stage. Just watching her audience work and the way she is so effortlessly funny, witty and well spoken while being front of large crowds has helped me gain more confidence in myself. I used to ask her before a show if she ever gets nervous and she would always say “no, not really.
BEST MEAL YOU’VE EVER HAD WHILE TRAVELING?
Recently I went to Paris, and I ate the best steak frites I’ve ever had!
Thank you Bella for planning an incredible Company Meeting! Our best yet , with every detail and moment thoughtfully planned including the fun parts, bonding with coworkers. The silent disco was a blast!
This year Bella took the lead at Regionals as the main person to manage the production for our partner & SIG staff. There were so many moving parts and she killed it !!! So proud of you Bella – thanks for all your support .”
It’s really two – travel size Febreeze and the EPICKA Universal Travel Adapter.
WHAT’S ONE THING YOU’VE LEARNED FROM A COWORKER THAT STUCK WITH
When you’re feeling overwhelmed and tempted to rush through whatever is in front of you, STOP and breathe. Give yourself a few minutes to calm down and go slow.
Karen is my #1 resource for all things Signature. I’ve asked her so many questions about so many things and I haven’t managed to stump her once. But more than her (seemingly) limitless patience for all my queries, I love that she always takes the time to give me additional information so that I don’t just get an answer-- I get a deeper understanding of the situation and, in turn, of how Signature works.
WHAT’S THE FUNNIEST OR WEIRDEST THING THAT’S EVER HAPPENED TO YOU ON A TRIP
During my first trip to Canada, my flight from NY to Toronto was canceled, and it was replaced by a flight from NY to Minneapolis, then to Toronto. It said “coach” on my ticket from Minneapolis to Toronto, and I thought the last leg of the trip was in a bus, until I asked where the bus station was when I landed in Minneapolis.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE WAY TO RELAX AFTER A LONG WORKDAY?
I am lucky to live close to the Pacific Ocean, so I can relax on the beach looking at the ocean and listening to the breaking waves or some music.
Antoine was incredibly instrumental in helping the cruise team migrate our massive “Cruise Inbox” to a new Microsoft account and linking it to a brandnew email ticketing platform. This was a strenuous, timeconsuming, and complicated process with some slight hiccups along the way. Antoine was wonderful in keeping us up to date on the transition process and has ensured we are set up for success . And all with a smile !
WHAT’S THE FUNNIEST OR WEIRDEST THING THAT’S EVER HAPPENED TO YOU ON A TRIP?
Delta lost my luggage on a trip to the 2006 Olympics, which included my Winter attire that I needed to wear in the Alps! I had to borrow warm weather clothes from a colleague, and it was 2 time too big! I had an amazing time!
Never give up. Today is hard, tomorrow will be worse, but the day after tomorrow will be sunshine. Yesterday is but today’s memory, and tomorrow is today’s dream. The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.
Not only did Lissa pull off an Owners Meeting last minute “ Hail Mary ” with the switch in venues, but she also portrayed such a calm and collected demeanor. She put those around her at ease and made sure we were all on task with our responsibilities. This meeting could have easily gone sideways, but Lissa and the team delivered once again an exceptional experience for our Members.”
Dryer sheets!!! Not only do they make your clothes smell good, but they work wonders to address static cling with clothing and can help tame hair frizzies.
After a long workday, I love to go for a run or go to a Pilates class. It forces me to clear my mind of the day and help reset for a new day.
Janette’s intelligence , reliability , and quick thinking make her an indispensable team member. Before the official launch of the new hotel booking engine, she led a live demo for our internal staff, effortlessly pivoting and responding to every question with confidence and clarity . Her contributions have been exceptional , and her hard work has not gone unnoticed.”
BEST MEAL YOU’VE EVER HAD WHILE TRAVELING?
SS Pylsur with everything (lamb-based hot dog with ketchup, sweet mustard, remoulade, crisp fried onion and raw onion) at the Bæjarins Beztu Pylsur hot dog stand in Reykjavík. Runner up is the reindeer carpaccio at Fiskfélagið.
WHAT’S BEEN YOUR PROUDEST WORK MOMENT THIS YEAR?
Elvis, Las Vegas Conference, 2024
Jana did an INCREDIBLE job with the signage at Conference this year and I know it was a heavy lift to get it all done, especially with tight deadlines . The signage was beautiful and professional and there was SO much to do! Jana always has the best attitude and is always a pleasure .”
WHAT’S THE FUNNIEST OR WEIRDEST THING THAT’S EVER HAPPENED TO YOU ON A TRIP?
I was approached by a local who noticed I was on a birthday trip. The local offered to sing happy birthday to me... for $20!
WHAT’S BEEN YOUR PROUDEST WORK MOMENT THIS YEAR?
Helping a coworker who came to me with challenges to make things more clear to forge forward in their role. Actually being a part of a coworker’s success is a huge way to make my day!
As the backbone of our HR department, she ensures that everyone feels supported and valued. From sending timely reminders about Great Work perks, to answering benefitrelated questions with clarity, to coordinating informative webinars that help us navigate our benefits, KM’s dedication truly shines . Her professionalism and commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture make a tremendous impact on all of us.”
Country it would have to be Ireland (Giants Causeway is my screen saver).
YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT WORKING AT SIGNATURE?
Being encouraged, equipped, and given the opportunity to grow!
Seeing Anna rock her first presentation at Conference!
Kelly has gone above and beyond covering for coworkers, training new coworkers and jumping in on areas that don’t usually fall under her responsibilities (like bots taking over our client forms) this past month. She is so thoughtful and thorough and is never afraid to learn something new or take the time it needs to do something right. She is such an incredible representative of Signature and always looking to do more to better serve her coworkers and members.”
