Praised be Jesus Christ! Now and forever! Amen Saint Thomas More First Annual Parish Festival…what a fantastic opportunity for our parish community! As we gather together to celebrate God’s goodness and His bountiful Love, let me first thank everyone for their hard work and diligence throughout the Festival. You have made this a fantastic opportunity for our parish community. As friends and neighbors from throughout the area come together for food, entertainment and the fellowship that this event offers, I send a very special thank you to our generous sponsors. Your support has made this celebration possible.

Saint Thomas More Parish was founded to bring the love of Christ to the area. We pray as a Catholic community and lovingly worship God. Msgr. Coll, Msgr. Murphy, and all the priests that have gone before us, have faithfully taught, by word and deed, this message of love.

The reason we reach out to the poor, the sick and all those in need, is because of this same message, or better yet, because of the One who gave it to us. We teach the command to love in the classrooms of our school, on our ball fields, in the lunchroom, and in the parking lot. We try to be loving in our families, to neighbors, and those with whom we work. It is the great command of Jesus: “You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22: 37-39) I pray that our future will be overflowing with this love. Let us not be afraid, for peace in our world will be achieved by this love. Hearts will be healed only by this love. Truth will reign

by Love! May each of you experience the unconditional love of God, grow in faith and hope, and one day enjoy the heavenly FESTIVAL of JOY. Saint Thomas More… Pray for us!
