ANNUAL

IMPACT REPORT 2025-2026 THE POWER OF GIVING. THE STRENGTH OF OUR COMMUNITY.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT Dear Friends, The 2025–2026 school year demonstrated what is possible when the St. Mary’s Ryken community comes together with generosity, faith and a shared commitment to our students. The impact of that support can be seen in the stories that defined this year: students discovering new possibilities through aviation and STEM, teachers forming hearts and inspiring lives, athletes and artists growing in self-awareness, discipline and teamwork, and alumni carrying SMR’s values into their careers and communities. These are the outcomes that matter most—not simply what was given, but what generosity made possible: opportunity, belonging, purpose, and lives rooted in faith and service. As a Catholic school in the Xaverian tradition, we are called to recognize the unique gifts and inherent dignity of every student. Your partnership helps us create a community in which young people deepen their faith, discover their God-given talents and learn to use those gifts in service to others. Your generosity strengthens every part of the SMR experience. It expands access through scholarships, enriches academic and extracurricular programs, supports our dedicated faculty and staff, and provides the resources students need to prepare for lives of compassionate leadership. The donor lists included in this report recognize the alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, corporations, foundations, organizations and friends who made this work possible. Every gift, regardless of size, reflects a belief in our Catholic mission and in the young people entrusted to our care. On behalf of our students, faculty and staff, thank you for believing in St. Mary’s Ryken. Your generosity strengthens our school today and helps ensure that future generations of Knights will continue to learn, grow in faith and thrive within this extraordinary community. God bless,

Rick Wood President and CEO

Donations to the Knight Fund impact every SMR student. Private support is vital to providing the resources our students need to achieve in the classroom, create in the arts, excel in athletics, and grow in faith while becoming more compassionate and caring young adults. In 2025-2026 the cost to educate each student exceeded tuition by more than $3.400, leaving a gap of more than $2.3 million to be bridged through philanthropy and other revenue sources. 4 St. Mary’s Ryken High School 2025-2026 Annual Report

THE STRENGTH OF OUR COMMUNITY. This spring, SMR President Dr. Rick Wood traveled to 10 cities across Florida, reconnecting with dozens of alumni from St. Mary’s Academy, Ryken High School and St. Mary’s Ryken. From Miami to Punta Gorda, Knights spanning generations shared memories, celebrated life journeys and heard updates about the school’s continued growth. The trip demonstrated that no matter where life leads, the friendships, traditions and spirit of the SMR community remain strong. Read more: Warm Reunions in the Sunshine State

The Class of 1975 celebrated its 50th Reunion with 58 alumni and guests enjoying Mass, dinner and time to reconnect. Classmates also supported the 50th Reunion Class Scholarship Fund, established to provide lasting financial assistance to SMR students. The fund has grown to $57,408.

THE POWER OF GIVING. Corporate Partnerships Expand STEM Opportunities

Strategic corporate partnerships continued to provide significant resources for STEM education and technology certification programs.

$300,000

The SMR community responded enthusiastically to Giving Tuesday on December 2, 2025, with 140 donors contributing more than $31,000, exceeding the $25,000 goal. The effort demonstrated the power of broad participation and digital fundraising to engage donors around a shared day of philanthropy.

Three New Endowed Scholarships The Ken Wolf Endowed Scholarship, J. Craig & Sherry Marshall GP’29 Endowed Scholarship, and Richard A. Fazio P'04,'05,'12 Scholarship were established to honor lives of faith, service, and commitment to Catholic education while expanding access to St. Mary’s Ryken. These permanent funds transform family legacies into lasting opportunities, providing scholarship support for generations of students and strengthening SMR’s mission for the future.
