Sixth Form Enrichment Programme
Sixth Form Enrichment covers a range of activities including co-curricular clubs, leadership opportunities, and our comprehensive guest speaker programme. The aim of these opportunities is to allow students to build their experiences and skills to boost their UCAS and job applications – ultimately, their engagement with enrichment during their time in Sixth Form, along with outstanding results, will make St Mary’s students standout from their peers when they move on.
Leadership is crucial to success, and we aim to give students as many opportunities as possible to demonstrate and develop the skills of leadership during their time in the Sixth Form. Girls will lead many of the co-curricular activities, be a Prefect, Head of House or even a member of the Head Girl Team. Students may wish to set up and lead their own forums or committees and will feel empowered to carve out their own leadership experiences based on interests and passions.
Our frequent guest speaker schedule aims to open students’ eyes to a range of current afairs, career opportunities, and routes, and provide personalised advice to help girls achieve their dreams. The more students engage with these talks, ask questions, create contacts and engage proactively during the sessions, the more beneficial they will find them.
