Spiritual Formation
Classes and Offerings
Children and Youth:
Sunday School and Youth Formation: For children of all ages, starting in Pre-K.
Classes meet on Sunday mornings at 10:20 in the School Auditorium
Youth Confirmation: For teens in Grade 8 - 12 seeking to make a mature affirmation of their Baptismal Covenant. Schedule will be announced based on interest.
Adults:
Text Talk Bible Study: Meets in the School Dining Room between the Sunday Masses.
Theology Discussion Group: Meets on Wednesday evenings. We start with Vespers at 5:30, followed by a simple dinner at 6:00, followed by an hour of discussion from 6:307:30.
Catechumenate/ Adult Christian Formation Program:
Fall - Part 1: Open to the full parish. Topics include Church History, Bible, Liturgy and Worship in the Episcopal Church, Christian Ethics. Meets monthly on Sundays in Laughlin Hall at 1:15pm
Spring - Part 2: For those who decide to take on Baptism, Confirmation, Reception, or Renewal at the Easter Vigil (please note: all of Part 1 is required for this stage). These classes take a deeper dive into our Anglican/Episcopal spiritual life.

Advent and Lent Retreats (Holy Cross), Catechumens Retreat, Icon Workshop (St. Luke’s), and more.

Support Spiritual Formation at St. Luke’s
Lead Sunday School:
We always welcome new volunteers to help with Sunday School. New volunteers will be able to work with experienced leaders to gain the skills and knowledge needed. Not sure where to start? Email Mother Victoria Lewis to talk about serving as a Sunday School chaperone. No teaching experience required!
been Baptized and Confirmed are invited to serve as Catechumenate sponsors. Sponsors and candidates (adult and youth) are connected as journey partners during the formation process each year. Email Father Andrew Ancona for more information about serving in this role.

A donation to gift a lesson will help us expand our curriculum and provide enrichment opportunities for Sunday School children.
