Extra collection options

All garbage, recycling and organics must fit inside your cart with the lid closed for collection. Consider these options for extra material: • Extra recyclables can be placed in containers next to your cart; extra carts are also available. See the recycling section on page 9 for more information. • Extra bags of household garbage can be collected if marked with “Extra Garbage” stickers purchased from the city. Contact utility billing for more information. • Extra collection of material before your next collection day can also be requested.

Home pickup of appliances, bulky wastes and electronics

The city’s hauler offers collection of items that must be recycled like appliances, TVs and computer monitors. Bulky wastes like carpeting, broken furniture, remodeling debris and mattresses are also collected. Residents must contact and prepay Waste Management for collection.

Walkup service

Walkup service is offered for an extra fee. The hauler can collect carted material at a different location on your property at their discretion. Carts must be outside, not inside a building such as a garage. Sign up by calling Waste Management. Separate fees are charged for each service type (garbage, recycling and organics). Walkup service is not available for yard waste.
