Middle School/High Schoolers ROC, 3700 Monterey Drive Let’s rock under the ROC this summer and hear some tunes from some great local youth bands. Bands will play back to back. Come down for some fun entertainment and to hang out at the ROC on a summer evening.

The FREE event offers services such as: haircuts, bike repair, family portraits, employment resources and health care information. Summer Skating Clinic

AGES 6 –18 Stay cool this summer at the rink! The St. Louis Park Skating program is offering a three day, full day comprehensive skating clinic. Clinic includes morning off-ice classes and afternoon on-ice training. On-ice classes focus on power, edges, jumps, spins and artistry. Off-ice trainings will include stretching and warm-ups, core and endurance conditioning, healthy living education, jumping techniques and more.

Aquatic Park 3700 Monterey Drive Our aquatic park is the hottest place to stay cool this summer! Wade into the pool from our zero depth entry or splash into the water from the four-story water slides. Pond Study

With a few simple tools like nets and pipettes, we can learn a lot about a pond habitat. We’ll collect aquatic macroinvertebrates and attempt to identify them as well as learn what they tell us about the water quality and food web of Westwood Lake. Older students will also assess water quality using different chemical analyses. The day will end by viewing our collections using a special camera on our big screen inside.

Instructors cannot accept registrations in class.

Resident Benefits

Residents pay a lower fee for many activities. A resident is someone who lives or works full-time in St. Louis Park. Non-residents who register as residents will forfeit their fee and their place in the activity.

Full refunds are given only when an activity is canceled by the Recreation Division. When registration is withdrawn prior to the first day of the activity, a 20 percent administrative fee will be assessed. Partial credit will be considered if cancellation is due to injury or serious illness.

Little Log House Antique Power Show

Then we’ll board the La Crosse Queen, a modern-day replica of the grand riverboats that plied the Mississippi River in the late 19th Century and is one of the few authentic Mississippi River paddle wheel riverboats still in operation in the country today.
