Put pen to paper and promote yourself

It’ s fabulous to receive members ’ letters and articles about their experiences and projects in the field, especially in distant lands, writes Editor Emma Thorpe.

I welcome any news from our members about present projects as it shows young and up-andcoming LDs what you are doing and what can be achieved in this line of work.

I would love to have a regular feature in each issue, but I rely on people to send in articles. If you would like to contribute, the deadlines for the next three magazines are: 25 October for the winter 2014 issue; 24 January for the spring 2015 issue; and 16 June for the summer 2015 issue.

I look forward to receiving as many articles as possible. It is a widely-read magazine and most of you are freelancers, so this is a great tool to help promote you, too. Free marketing is a no-brainer!
