Year 3
Reception students will familiarise themselves with scientific journals, utilising them to document their observations of various pollution types. They will also be actively engaged in scientific experiments to reinforce their scientific understanding and practical skills. Year 1 students will be introduced to Augmented Reality (AR), where they will gain hands-on experience integrating their digital creations into the real world. Complementing this technological exploration, students will delve into the importance of meeting the fundamental needs of living organisms. As part of their learning journey, students will utilise the engineering process to design digital enclosures, tailored to the requirements of virtual animals. To culminate this process, they will employ the Augmented Reality software 'AR Makr' to display their innovative creations, uniting the digital and physical realms. Year 2 students will embark on an engaging exploration of Digital Animation. This innovative journey will see them creating digital animations from their own hand-drawn artwork, utilising artificial intelligence software to bring their imaginative characters to life. These animated characters will then be choreographed to perform a variety of actions. Finally, students will weave these animated puppets into iMovie, resulting in a multifaceted project that showcases their artistic and technical abilities. In Year 3, students will venture into the world of Stop Animation, wielding the 'Stop Motion Studio' software on iPads. They will employ their creativity to produce stop motion animations, with a particular emphasis on the lunar cycle and its phases. Using
