As I reflect on last year, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude. 2021-’22 was a truly historic year for St. John’s, and one filled with many wonderful milestones. As the oldest Episcopal school in the Tampa area and second oldest in the state of Florida, the school community enjoyed a year-long celebration of our 70th Birthday. And what a celebration it was!

As you will read in this Impact Report, every member of the St. John’s community has so much to take pride in. For the past seven decades, the school has distinguished itself by preparing children for lives of learning and service in an ever-changing society. Renowned for our Episcopal identity, a core belief in the potential of our children and the sanctity of childhood, the school continues a long tradition of demonstrated success in providing an unparalleled, values-driven preparatory education underpinned by hard work, faith, honesty, and a commitment to excellence.

The current generation of graduates, like those who came before them, continue to thrive in high school, college, and beyond.

The key to our school’s unrivaled success is fourfold. First, St. John’s philosophy of education is a strong and powerful combination of tradition and innovation. We are not influenced or driven by educational fads or trends. Instead, we understand the critical importance of a strong foundation of knowledge and skills. Second, our Episcopal identity is clear and unambiguous, leading us to offer children and adults opportunities for spiritual growth in a joyful and inclusive environment. Third, our professional culture is one of thoughtful change and continuous improvement. I do not believe there is a stronger or better team of educators in the Tampa area than ours. Lastly, our school is neither too big nor too small, and this has created the conditions for a wonderful and authentic sense of community and fellowship. Little wonder, then, that St. John’s is widely viewed as the area leader and model for excellence in all that matters in children’s education.

As you read this Impact Report, all the above will be more than evident. It is wonderful to recognize and highlight all those who make up the wonderful mosaic that is the St. John’s community.

Primary

Enriching Our Students’ Lives ANA IBANEZ, DIRECTOR OF PRIMARY DIVISION For a St. John’s student taking flight to eventually become an “Eagle For A Decade,” it all begins in the Primary Division!

Children begin a 10-year journey here—a memorable path that takes them from the building blocks of learning to being prepared for success at the high school of their choice and beyond.

Enrichment resources are plentiful at St. John’s from the start, adding key experiences to the core subjects and establishing useful connections. Our youngest learners experience a wide range of enrichment classes designed to develop and elevate the whole child - art, music, Spanish, divinity, library/technology, science, and physical education.

St. John’s dedicated enrichment teachers engage students once or twice weekly, mostly in the afternoons. Research has shown this age group (4-6 years old) to be most alert and receptive to academic subjects in the morning, creating ideal opportunities to enjoy a wide range of activities in the afternoon featuring movement and creativity, including music and physical education.

Continuity and development is built into the St. John’s model, as a primary student’s classroom assistant teacher joins them for all enrichment classes.

This helps to ensure cohesion and synergy between core curriculum and enrichment.

Cross-curricular integration between enrichment classes and homeroom subjects is part of why students love every minute of it – all the way through graduation.

Students were able to showcase their educational development at many events this year, including music open houses in the fall and spring. Grandparents and ‘Grand’ Friends Day in February provided another opportunity for students to show their family members their progress during that school visit. This year, it was a delight to see grandparents using an iPad or in the schoolyard participating in physical education activities.

A special focus at St. John’s is cross-curricular integration between enrichment classes and homeroom subjects. For instance, this year students celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month in Spanish class while incorporating that area of study into other disciplines: piñata making in art, Spanish songs in music, technology integration with iPad apps,

and library with Hispanic Heritage Month books. This coordinated synergy is used to build a suite of related knowledge and skills in students.

During chapel each morning, students practiced lessons learned in divinity as well as songs and activities from music class. Art and music took center stage at this year’s Night of the Arts – an exciting opportunity where

students performed together for an audience.

Enrichment subjects enhance the overall academic experience, and the Primary Division is where this process begins. The many student smiles one sees during these classes reveal a love of enrichment, from inception at age four all the way through graduation.

Lower

Building a Campus Community MICHAEL SALZER, DIRECTOR OF LOWER DIVISION Lower Division can be seen as the bridge that connects the beginning and end of a St. John’s student’s experience.

As students spend four years in Lower Division, the campus can develop its own sense of community as a whole, as well as in each individual grade and classroom. In a year marked by the ability to gather together as a division once again, this school year featured a number of exciting community building experiences for the entire Lower Division community.

The completion of the deck renovation has made a significant impact on the way the students come together as a community in such a large, inviting space. During recess time, students who may be in other homerooms came together and played with another peer that they may have never played with before because of their shared love of ‘GaGa Ball’ - which has been a community hub of fun and exercise on the sports deck. With the new various sport offerings, all covered wonderfully by shades, each grade level came together as a community bonding over their shared interests.

Making excellent use of this newly improved space allowed for a number of spirit rallies and whole lower division events. Students celebrated World Science Day with flair! After each classroom conceptualized, designed and built an egg drop prototype in science, they put it to the test.

Dropping from the top of the playdeck to the ground, students gathered together in excitement as their prototypes were tested. Each classroom celebrated their own and each others’ successes!

Classroom communities are also developed and fostered through a number of activities throughout the year. The most consistent of these is morning meetings, held at the start of each day after Chapel. This important time allows students to express themselves in a safe environment, learn from each other, and support each other. Classroom cultures and identities are formed through this process, setting students up for success throughout the year.

The parent community at St. John’s plays an integral role in the Lower Division. We are so fortunate to have such a strong parent community of deeply involved and engaged families who enjoy coming to campus when the opportunity arises.

Parents were able to return to attending morning chapel, which helped build a greater sense of community. Hearing the same lessons that their children hear during morning chapel, parents are able to explore and reinforce those concepts at home. It also allowed for parents to reconnect with one another back on campus in this way.

A new addition to this year to help build that sense of community came through parent lunches. Each classroom rotated days where the parents attended lunch in the courtyard with their child’s class. A simple BYOL (bring your own lunch) and some time together made an immense impact on everyone’s experience. Having that brief connection point with their child and their child’s classmates and parents strengthened the bonds that hold the St. John’s community together.

Whether it has been bringing the students and faculty together in new ways throughout the year or having parents engage and enjoy time together on campus with their child(ren) and peers, this last school year is evidence that dedication to building a strong sense of community truly creates a wonderful shared sense of unity and pride for our division.

Middle

Nurturing a Positive Community with Advisory LISA STRAUCH, DIRECTOR OF MIDDLE DIVISION Every Wednesday morning at Middle Division was filled with fun and excitement as students gathered in their Advisory Groups! The 2021-’22 school year was the inaugural year for this program, based on the Responsive Classroom pedagogy.

Small groups of 10-12 students of the same grade met each week for 20 minutes with a faculty member who served as their advisor. Mixed groups of students from different homerooms with advisors that may not be one of their teachers provides a greater opportunity to meet more of the SJE middle community. Advisory provides a space and structure for faculty members to support students individually and as a group as they develop their sense of self and identity in connection to their relationships with peers.

The program started with a 12-week unit on the growth mindset, including a virtual guest speaker, Blake Brandes. Each week’s advisory meeting focused on a component of the growth mindset. Students learned that intelligence and talents can be developed, effort is the pathway to mastery, mistakes are an essential part of growth, and to embrace challenges.

In January, students learned how to create and execute SMART goals, which are “specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound.” Students chose one goal to work toward and used a worksheet to create a plan to achieve and track their progress. Faculty advisors helped to ensure students felt supported in their SMART goal process, while also learning to take personal responsibility and initiative.

The spring included a unit on kindness and empathy. Students spent time discussing the difference between being “kind” and being “nice,” the importance of empathy, good listening skills, generosity, courteousness, and being a role model for kindness.

Finally, the last quarter of the school year focused on digital citizenship and social media etiquette. Students discussed media balance and well-being, privacy and security, digital footprint, relationships and communication, and cyberbullying and digital drama.

Each advisory meeting is structured to allow

students to practice speaking and listening skills. In addition, the small group setting builds and fosters connections and a sense of safety when sharing ideas and concerns.

Students will stay in the same advisory group during their entire time at Middle Division, which serves to strengthen and support established relationships.

The ultimate goal of the advisory program is to nurture a positive community through building a continued repertoire of shared experiences while enhancing strong social and emotional skills. Students and faculty enjoyed spending time together building relationships and skills in a fun environment.

Students discuss the importance of empathy, good listening skills, generosity, courteousness, and being a role model for kindness.

Athletics From the field to the stage and everywhere in between, SJE students explore their passions through our many arts and athletics programs! Here are some highlights of the 2021-’22 arts and athletics seasons.

SJE Eagles soared to success on the field, track and court! The 2021-’22 season was an amazing sports year filled with laughs, smiles, championships and fun! For the first time in the school’s history, students were introduced to the intramural Flag Football league boys and girls in Grades 6-8. This year also brought about a number of title-winning moments for our athletes in the Florida West Coast League (FWCL): • Girls Tennis: Champions • Varsity White Girls Volleyball: Champions in the Silver Division • Varsity White Boys Basketball: 2nd place in the Gold Division • Varsity White Girls Basketball: 2nd place in the Gold Division •

Arts Night Of The Arts

Night of the Arts returned to its full glory on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, with visual and performing arts live and in person! Everyone was greeted by the beautiful sounds of the guitar club as they entered the courtyard. Unique art pieces created by each student hung on the walls in the gym, and students proudly toured their family members through the art gallery to show off their latest masterpieces. Students took the stage in the chapel, performing as a grade their culminating musical and instrumental pieces, including hits from the musical. It was a wonderful evening celebrating our SJE community of artists!

Musical

Middle Division actors took the stage at The Orlo as ‘revolting children’ in this year’s musical, Matilda, Jr. Three packed houses on March 31 and April 1, 2022 would agree that the students did an incredible job putting on this year’s musical. Aside from sharing their talents on stage, students on the tech crew supported the entire production from behind the scenes. Everyone’s talent shone brightly as they brought Broadway to life on the SJE stage!

Events

Santa Run

It was the merriest of celebrations on Saturday, December 11th! SJE community members of the past, present and future, joined together to mark the school’s 70th birthday at the school’s 70 Year Celebration & Santa Run event. More than 500 families and friends of the school attended, along with a flurry of snowflakes and a jolly visit from Santa himself! From the 5K, family fun run and pancake breakfast to Christmas crafts and festivities, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Join us at the upcoming Santa Run event, Saturday, December 3, 2022!

Grand­parents Day

Grandparents and ‘grand’ friends of St. John’s filled the halls of each campus on Thursday, February 24, 2022. It was such a beautiful day shared by these incredible people in our students’ lives. Starting the day at Primary, grandparents and ‘grand’ friends enjoyed breakfast and time in and out of the classrooms with their students. At Lower, guests were treated to music performances and a beautiful family slideshow as well as time with their grandchildren and teachers.

Ending the day at Middle, students treated their guests to a delicious lunch, and enjoyed playing different academic games and challenges led by their teachers. Grandparents and ‘grand’ friends traveled from near and far, and some even throughout all three campuses in one day. St. John’s is so lucky to have such a supportive, special community of grandparents and ‘grand’ friends.

We can’t wait for next year’s gathering on Friday, February 24, 2023!

St. John’s Open

The St. John’s Open, the school’s annual golf scramble established by the Dads’ Club, was a swinging success! On Saturday, March 5, 2022, teams composed of SJE parents, alumni, grandparents, partners, and friends took to the green at the Bay Palm Golf Complex on MacDill Airforce Base. It was wonderful seeing so many community members out on the course for a fun morning of friendly competition. Thank you to the Dads’ Club for organizing such a wonderful ‘friend’ raising event!

Celebratio

Celebratio, the premiere school evening event for dancing, food, libations, and celebration of the St. John’s community held on Friday, April 29, 2022 at the Tampa Yacht and Country Club raised a glass in honor of another outstanding year in the St. John’s - quite possibly the school’s most successful gala!

For the first time in Celebratio history, all event proceeds went directly and exclusively to fulfill the dreams of SJE teachers and administrators. Every child and teacher at St. John’s directly benefited from the heartfelt fundraising efforts of our community. Due to the overwhelming generosity of every Eagles Fund supporter in meeting the strategic needs of the school earlier in the year, this event was positioned for success, truly made dreams come true and enhanced the unparalleled experience St. John’s children enjoy!

Setting Students Up For Success JIM & KELLY MILLER

As parents of an “Eagle For A Decade” (daughter Abby, Class of ‘22) and a current Eagle, Tommy (Grade 4), Kelly and Jim Miller clearly recognize the value of a St. John’s education.

“The academics are superior, which appealed to me when we toured different schools for our daughter,” says Kelly. “But when we toured the Primary Campus, we also found it to be such a nurturing space, and that’s just as important. It’s a small campus with a very intimate feel – a great place for our daughter to start her academic journey.”

The longevity and continuity of many families at the school was another draw, says Jim. “We’d heard of so many friends’ kids who had attended the school for the whole ten-year run, K(4) through Grade 8 – and that sense of community was attractive.”

In the end, the decision to choose St. John’s was easy for the couple – as was becoming philanthropic supporters. They began to donate to the Eagles Fund when Abby started K(4). But their commitment to donating was deepened during the Covid-19 pandemic, when the school was able to safely stay open under the leadership of Head of School, Hugh Jebson.

“We wanted to thank the school financially for doing a great job on behalf of the kids,” explains Jim. “We saw what the administration and faculty did to keep the school open, and the positive effect it had on our children, so we wanted to do as much as we could to support that.”

Jim noticed a similar consensus amongst fellow St. John’s parents who also strengthened their commitment to donate. “We wanted to come together as a school community to contribute to a school that helped get us through a very tough time. It united the entire school community,” he added. He’s even noticed friends become donors who never had children at the school – based on what they’ve seen from St. John’s students in the community.

The couple’s continued donations reflect the trust they place in the school leadership team.

“In his three years at the school, Hugh has done the equivalent of 10 years’ work to elevate the school. We believe our contributions are an important tool for him to continue that work,” Jim said. “Hugh and his team have a map of needs, and we just make unrestricted donations so they can decide where best to use it,” he added.

The couple have observed the fruits of giving, including all teachers’ Wish Lists they were able to help fund fully, putting valuable teaching resources in the hands of faculty.

They’ve noticed other results of Eagles Fund donations, ranging from an innovation lab to shades on recreation areas.

For Jim and Kelly, the commitment goes beyond their own children or even their time at the school. “We plan to continue to give to the Eagles Fund even after our son graduates,” Jim explained. That’s because of the gratitude they feel for the school helping to set her children up for success, Kelly adds.

“Abby was able to matriculate at an excellent high school because St. John’s gave her the academic and social tools to thrive on the next level. I credit St. John’s with creating those habits to help her become the student and young lady that she is.”

Donors

The Daily Results of Giving MICHAEL & ABBY SALZER

Few members of the St. John’s family can match the heritage, legacy, and current involvement of the Salzer family – more than 50 years across three generations.

Director of Lower Division, Michael Salzer, was an Eagle For A Decade (Class of ’94), along with brother Ryan (Class of ’91), while their mother Sue Salzer was an iconic and beloved St. John’s K(4) teacher for 24 years. Michael has now been employed at St. John’s for 20 years – first as a Grade 3 and Grade 4 teacher, then an administrative lead since 2020.

“My perspective as a St. John’s student, then teacher, and now administrator and parent, is something I wish I could bottle up and show other parents.”

But longevity isn’t necessarily the main reason they choose to donate every year to the Eagles Fund. It’s observing the current, day-to-day effects of giving, say Michael and wife Abby. With two children currently at the school – son Gabriel (Grade 5) and daughter Sosie (Grade 2) – the Salzers can see the benefits of being an Eagles Fund donor from a unique viewpoint.

“My perspective from years as a St. John’s student, then teacher, and now administrator and parent, is something I wish I could bottle up and show other parents,” Michael enthuses. “I’m able to see what the Eagles Fund support has produced – all of which is generated from donor support.”

“Seeing teachers submit wish lists and bringing those to fruition requires all of us to step up,” reflects Abby. “Any amount that can be contributed is felt on the front lines.”

This positive feedback loop of being donors - and also being involved in the allocation of donations feeds into Michael’s loyalty and dedication to the school as an employee.

“I am not alone in my appreciation of St. John’s – I stand shoulder to shoulder with others who have been here for many years,” he explains. “There’s such a genuine, deep appreciation for the school, in terms of what we accomplish with the students. St. John’s is fundamentally a tremendous place to work and a great place to spend my days.”

He credits the students with making the school special. “Each St. John’s student – whether from

20 years ago or just yesterday – has helped make a difference in my life. Their exuberance and ability to make each day a great day has always been very inspiring.”

That student perspective stems partly from a St. John’s approach that yields powerful results: a curriculum and environment focused on enriching the whole child, Michael points out. By the time an Eagle graduates, their worldview tends to include a great amount of empathy, which also helps make them a pleasure to teach, he says.

“From a parent perspective, they’re very engaged and supportive students,” Abby says. “Both of our kids received awards at the end of the school year, and it was notable to me how encouraging their classmates were

when hearing other kids’ names announced.

Especially for middle school students, that is not always the case.”

even after her passing, I’ve reflected and hoped I’ve done things to the best of my ability to make her proud.”

“It’s cool to be smart here!” Michael says with a smile.

As an administrator, Michael has witnessed how Eagles Fund donations have benefited learning, especially recently. “I ask the teachers each year, ‘What could you use to elevate your teaching in the classroom?’ as well as thinking holistically about enhancements that would be valuable for the whole division.”

Having absorbed the whole child ethos from his mother both at St. John’s as a student and at home, he leverages the school’s supportive atmosphere to help elevate the learning experience for the Lower Division teachers and students.

“Success for our school and for our community matters more to me than anything – success within the classroom, student success, success in the community with parents – all of that is important to me.

I’ve wanted to make my mom proud, and

“I am charged with bringing about continuous improvement for this division,” Michael explains. “And I’ve been able to lead the charge to accelerate success quickly over the past two years. That has been possible due to the direct support from funding from the Eagles Fund.

It’s unbelievable what giving can do.”

Shaping Students To Change The World MARCI THOMAS

As a loving grandmother to a shining St. John’s student, Lindsey Elrod (Grade 4), Marci Thomas feels a natural pull to be involved and help contribute to the 11-year-old’s growth. The best way to do that, Marci says, is through positive experiences that shape a child – including being a consistent donor to St. John’s Eagles Fund, which makes those experiences possible.

“Everybody wants to give to their grandchild – that’s not unusual. And I believe the best gifts are experiences, not things,” Marci says, explaining her Eagles Fund giving. “As a grandparent, if I’m going to make a financial investment, I could invest in securities – or I could invest in a person or in a way to help others. I’m investing in St. John’s because it’s shaping students who are going to make the world a better place. And there’s a multiplier effect: it’s not just for Lindsey, but for all the children at this school and those they touch.”

Being an enthusiastic donor began with seeing the effect of St. John’s on her granddaughter, starting from day one. When Lindsey’s parents Michelle (Marci’s daughter) and Travis toured various area schools in 2017, St. John’s stood out.

“You expect excellent academics at an independent school, but you’re also seeking an environment where the child will thrive,” says Marci. “St. John’s is so nurturing that after Lindsey’s first interview at the school, she exclaimed to her mom, ‘When can I come back?’”

The values and sense of purpose that are characteristic of St. John’s students are so impressive, says Marci, that donating to the school feels like investing in the future

of the community and beyond. “St. John’s is turning out children who are going to make an impact in the world – and that is what we need,” she says.

“I’ve noticed a spirit of giving even amongst students - Lindsey and her friends have participated in fundraising for others,” she adds. “St. John’s is instilling values in these children that make them better community members.”

St. John’s has proven to be an excellent steward of donations received, using every dollar to invest in teachers and staff, including equipment and programming to make learning more interesting for the children, Marci says. Without donations, these resources might be out of reach. “I know how expensive the cost of running an independent school can be - another reason I feel giving is so important,” she explains.

Marci’s commitment to St. John’s has a wider scope than her granddaughter’s time at the school – it’s a commitment to the future.

“I intend to continue giving because it’s an honor as well as a responsibility,” she says. “By giving to St. John’s, I can make a difference not just for my treasured grandchild, but also in the lives of other children and in the

larger community. That’s because the school teaches the value of love and care for one another, respect for diversity, the importance of giving back – all things that go above and beyond the excellent academics. St. John’s helps create productive, effective people.”

“If Lindsey and her classmates make a difference in the world based on their foundation here, it will mean a lot. That’s why in 2023 I intend to give more to the Eagles Fund than I did the year before.”

A Contributor For Life AL BESSE

For many St. John’s Eagles Fund donors, their connection to the school is in the present – current parent, being a school employee, or being an involved community member. For alumni like Al Besse (Class of ’69), however, the desire to give is inspired by decades of appreciation for the education and values St. John’s provided while attending as a child.

“I’ve been very fortunate to go to a series of extraordinary schools, starting with St. John’s,” Al says. “As I look back, the thing that was special for me about St. John’s is that they taught me how to learn. That set me up to be able to go anywhere to further my education – including, eventually, The Wharton School for Business at The University of Pennsylvania.”

Al became an Eagle when he entered St. John’s as a K(4) student in 1961 (photo at left), with two older brothers having preceded him at the school. He graduated in Grade 6, the highest grade level at that time, as the school was K(4)-6 during that period. Later, his niece and nephew attended St. John’s as well.

“St. John’s is where I learned how to learn.”

He sang in the St. John’s choir and fondly remembers that initial exposure to the arts, as well as the camaraderie and fellowship of that experience. It was also at St. John’s that he met fellow kindergartener Brooke Williams – a lifelong friend to this day.

But staying involved with the school as a donor – even after later moving to New Hampshire and Pennsylvania – was a foregone conclusion for Al, partly because of family values that placed a premium on education.

“My family has always prioritized education,” Al says. “So, it was always assumed I would go to college, and probably graduate school as well. Also, I grew up in a culture of supporting organizations that you care about. I’d see my parents and grandparents volunteering or donating to community efforts.”

Because of that, his first donation as a St. John’s alumnus came early, just after attending college in the 1970s. He’s maintained a regular pattern of giving for almost every year since, donating in June and December. “The first one is to accommodate the school’s fiscal year – and the second is for my tax year!” he says with a laugh. “I always give unrestricted gifts, because the school’s leaders know better than I ever could what to spend it on.”

Motivated by gratitude and personal values, he also donates because it just feels good. “It’s something I want to do. I believe in the institution, the people are great, and the school is managed successfully – as people turn over, the institution prevails over the years,” he explains.

“There’s nobody working at the school currently from when I was a student, nor do I have kids or other relatives there, but I stay connected as a donor out of a sense of respect and obligation to each rising generation.”

For those who haven’t donated to the Eagles Fund previously, Al suggests starting with a small but regular donation. He adds that the value to St. John’s is greater than other educational donations one can make. “St. John’s likely needs your donations more than your college does,” he explains. “I’d rather give to St. John’s and make more of an impact with every dollar.”

With insight gained during a career in the financial services industry, as well as serving on boards of charitable organizations in Philadelphia and other cities, Al recognizes how regular giving can produce compounded results. “Don’t worry if you can’t give much – any amount helps. The key is to make it part of your habit.”

With plans to continue donating to the Eagles Fund in perpetuity, Al says he hopes to make an even more meaningful donation later in life. That intentionality is reflective of the values instilled in him decades ago as a young St. John’s Eagle. “I want current and future St. John’s students to acquire the precious skill I acquired – the ability to learn – which is especially important today as children navigate modern life.”

Circle of Excellence Our Circle of Excellence continues to lead the charge in monumental fundraising success with their outstanding and generous support of the Eagles Fund. Since 2019-’20, our Circle of Excellence membership has expanded from 54 households to more than 110 at the end of the 2021-’22 school year. This circle of philanthropic leaders continues to include parents, grandparents, alumni, Trustees, administrators, partners, and friends within our school community who demonstrate servant leadership, and live by example our philanthropic philosophy, ‘Eagles Give Together.’

Donors with total annual giving to the Eagles Fund at $2,500 and above are recognized as honored members of the Circle of Excellence. Circle of Excellence donors are recognized in our community as Eagles Fund partners who inspire and encourage philanthropic leadership. Platinum Eagle Circle members were invited to join our Head of School for an intimate dinner at the conclusion of our campaign in honor of their visionary Eagles Fund giving of $25,000 and higher.

Community-wide participation Eagles Fund support empowered unrestricted possibilities, with more than $1 million raised for the first time in the school’s history, surpassing the school’s previous best in 2021-’22. All school ‘needs’ were met, allowing all annual giving directed to classroom and program enhancements, ending deficit spending and eliminating ‘the gap.’

This success included ‘give from the heart’ donations by many Circle of Excellence members at the school’s spring gala, Celebratio, hosted by the Office of Institutional Advancement and our Parents’ Association planning committee on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Tampa Yacht and Country Club. All event proceeds bolstered the soaring success of the Eagles Fund and helped fulfill 100% of our division’s wishes for the 2022-’23 school year.

In honor of our Circle of Excellence, Head of School, Mr. Hugh Jebson, hosted the 2022 VIE Party on Tuesday, May 18, 2022.

The 2021-’22 VIE Party’s exclusive guest list recognized the distinguished members of the 2021-’22 Circle of Excellence, school administrators, and members of our Board of Trustees.

VIE guests celebrated together in the ballroom of the historic, yet modern boutique venue, Hotel Haya; one of Tampa’s newest venues located in the charming and historic Ybor City.

The venue provided the perfect indoor space to mingle and toast the philanthropic achievements of the school year together with Circle of Excellence members, the first to hear of our school’s historic milestone for the Eagles Fund, and their personal impact in our success.
