Special Feature Photos
Leonard's provides the tuxedo. Please wear a plain, collarless, light-colored t-shirt to your photo session. Gentlemen must wear the tux and obey the rules in the SJA handbook to be featured in the formal portrait section of the yearbook.
The studio will take your photos as it is not their job to refuse a customer; however, any portrait not following the guidelines will result in scheduling a mandatory retake at the studio for yearbook publication
Hair must NOT touch the eyebrows, ears, or collar.
Hair must be tapered, neat, clean, and wellgroomed.
Partially shaved haircuts and multi-colored and unnaturally colored hair are not permitted
You MUST be clean shaven.
Mustaches, facial hair, earrings, visible tattoos, and body piercings are not permitted
Leonard's provides the black drape and pearls The black drape comes off the shoulder, so bring a strapless top or a tank top with straps that can easily be slipped down to your photo session. To be featured in the formal portrait section of the yearbook, ladies must wear the black drape and obey the following rules as per the SJA handbook:

No more than two earrings per ear, not to exceed one inch in diameter or length and no more than two necklaces are to be worn

Bring at least one extra outfit for your photoshoot that follows the handbook expectations for a clean, modest, and presentable look that positively reflects our Catholic culture of respect and modesty The “Casual Portrait” is used for the Senior biographies in the yearbook and it is included in EVERY portrait session with Leonard’s! You can bring props that show off your hobbies, sports, faith life, personality, and interests.
No Digital Fixes: Leonard’s Studios cannot digitally fix sunburns, tanlines, dress code violations, or strap marks for your yearbook pose It is YOUR responsibility to follow the rules from the start
All guidelines for formal portraits also apply to casual portraits and Cap & Gown
Clothes must be in good shape with no holes or rips. No spaghetti straps, strapless tops, or revealing midriffs Shorts, skirts, and dresses must be no higher than 4 inches above the knee. No plunging necklines. Graphics/Text: Any words or images on your clothing/props must not counter Catholic values
Cap & Gown photos are not used in the yearbook, but these are taken at your summer session if you and your family want them. Many families enjoy sending cap and gown photos included in graduation announcements Don't miss this opportunity to celebrate your accomplishments and share this moment with family and friends.

Look out for an email and a postcard mailed to your home address from Leonard's with your personalized access code and scheduling information. Scheduling your portrait session to take place over the summer makes sure your photos are included in time for the yearbook

If you have some great photos you want to share that could possibly be included in the yearbook, please contact the yearbook advisor for the best way to share them This is a student run publication, so we welcome crowdsourcing and would rather have too many photos than not enough
These photos are used in a special section of the yearbook, at a Senior recognition assembly in school, and as a slideshow for families to view before graduation. Show your love with a sweet photo of your child as a baby or small toddler to share God's wonderful creation of each graduate and highlight the sanctity of life in all stages
