What to bring on the first day
Please make sure everything is labelled clearly with your child’s name
• Water bottle – please fill it with fresh water every day.
• Smock (apron) – children wear this for lunch, Cooking and Art. They need to be in school on a Monday and will be sent home on a Friday to be washed over the weekend.
• School Bag – this will be brought into school every day.
• Folder – a folder will be given out on the first day. Please bring this every day in the bag, even if it is empty to start with. It helps the children get into the routine of bringing it into the classroom each day.
• Spare clothes – these do not have to be uniform, as long as there are some clean underwear for any accidents as well as tops and bottoms. We will keep them in a cloth St James bag on their peg.
• Collection register sheet – please return to teachers or email to the office.
They do not need to bring in anything else in their school bags such as pencil cases or breaktime snacks. All stationery and snacks are provided, unless they have an after-school club.
