JOHN GUIDON

When I accepted the challenge of becoming CEO of Stimcore Medical Devices, I made a commitment that has guided every company I have built: I commit only when the underlying science and engineering are sound, and when I know I can build or recruit the team capable of taking the product to market.

I am writing today to tell you that every major pillar of that commitment is now in place, and that 2026 is shaping up to be the most consequential year yet in this company’s history.

The Problem We Are Solving

More than one billion people worldwide suffer from Obstructive Sleep Apnea. In the United States alone, over 83 million are affected - and an estimated 80% remain undiagnosed. Those who are diagnosed face a difficult menu of options: bulky CPAP machines with poor long-term compliance, oral appliances that interfere with sleep, or surgery that is invasive and often impermanent.

None of these approaches addresses the true root cause of OSA. The airways of OSA patients are collapsing at night because three underlying conditions are going untreated: chronic nasal turbinate inflammation, insufficient nasal airflow, and weakened neuromuscular tone in the tongue and upper airway. Fix those three things during the day, and patients sleep better at night... without anything worn during sleep, without machines,

Airro™ is a daytime bioelectric therapy delivered via one of two wearable device options: a lightweight sinus unit integrated into an eyewear-style frame, and a comfortable intraoral unit. Typical sessions are approximately 15 minutes, three times per week to initiate therapy, and once per week to maintain results. Patients wear nothing during sleep.

The bioelectric signals Airro delivers are not experimental. They are drawn from two FDA-validated signal classes - the same signal families used in devices that have already achieved FDA clearance, are prescribed by specialist physicians, and are reimbursed by insurers. We have applied superior engineering, improved electrode geometry, multimodal coordination, and a proprietary FPGA-based platform to deliver these proven signals more precisely and more effectively

Our most recent clinical work- 20 patients treated by Dr. Bittner, completing four weeks of tri-weekly 30-minute sessions, produced results that significantly exceed what we had achieved in our earlier 2023-2024 cohort:

• 100% of patients reported improved nasal breathing

• 95% of bed partners reported significant snoring reduction within the first two weeks

• 65% of patients achieved complete snoring resolution across all severity levels

• 88% of mild OSA patients achieved complete snoring resolution within three weeks

• 50%+ average AHI reduction in mild and moderate OSA patients over four weeks

These results were a decisive factor in the decision of Dr. Ronald Popper, MD, FAASM, DABSM, a highly respected sleep medicine practitioner and nationally known educator, to join Stimcore as our Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Popper reviewed the data carefully, evaluated the underlying science, and chose to stake his professional reputation on Stimcore & Airro this company. We are proud to have him leading our clinical program.

A Year of Milestone Achievements

The past twelve months have been a period of sustained progress across every dimension of the business. I want to take a moment to recognize what this team has accomplished.

Engineering: I have completed the core schematics for what we call “the Brain” - our compact, proprietary, multi-signal medical waveform generator. This module is being engineered for extreme miniaturization, enabling integration into the arm of our lightweight eyewear-style wearable. This architecture advances our product roadmap significantly, enabling vastly more efficient signal delivery and shorter treatment sessions.

Continued l Letter from our CEO

Manufacturing and Development Partners: We have signed a development agreement with Starfish Medical, one of North America’s premier specialty medical device developers, with operations in both Victoria and Toronto, Canada, and Irvine, California. Starfish will complete the final engineering of our devices and support the build-out of our AI-enabled clinical platform. We have also engaged Swope Design Solutions in San Francisco to refine our intraoral devices using long-term biocompatible silicone materials.

Strategic Recognition: Stimcore was selected into the Octane Capital Assist program, one of only six companies chosen through a competitive vetting process. Octane’s CEO, Bill Carpou, said it best:

“Stimcore isn’t a workaround - it’s a reset. They’re addressing one of the world’s most common chronic conditions by restoring natural function where machines fall short.”

Commercial Infrastructure: We have entered into a strategic commercial relationship with Convergent Sleep Centers of America, founded by Dr. Blair Bittner, the architect of the go-to-market strategy that built Invisalign into a global brand. Dr. Bittner is reprising that model for Airro, leveraging sleep dentistry and MSO/DSO channels as our primary distribution engine. A single Convergent Sleep Center is projected to help at least 300 clients each year, placing 300+ Airro device suites per year, compared to approximately 36 units annually for a typical dental practice. These centers are being developed across the top 200 dental markets in the United States.

Team Expansion: We have added exceptional talent to our commercial team. We will soon be announcing our new Director of International Sales and Marketing who brings incredible relationships from throughout the industry and has built, trained and inspired an international organization with over $2 Billion in sales. Also on board is Steve Bonnenberger, who brings decades of sales, marketing, and media experience. Greg Seifert joins our capital formation effort with strong investor relationships and is himself an OSA patient who understands this global problem firsthand.

Manufacturing: U.S. manufacturing commences in Q2 2026.

Product availability of the wellness sinus wearable is on track for Q3 2026.

What’s Next

We are currently moving on three parallel tracks, and we expect each to produce significant news in the coming months.

Track 1 - Wellness Device Launch. In parallel with our FDA regulatory pathway, we are bringing a wellness-positioned device to market that does not require FDA clearance, as each individual component is already cleared. This product reaches the market first, strengthens our financial position, and gives us real-world commercial learnings ahead of the FDA-cleared Airro launch.

Track 2 - FDA 510(k) Submission. We are on track to submit Airro for FDA 510(k) clearance toward the end of 2026, supported by a further clinical study and our robust predicate device pathway. Our regulatory team has established a clear and credible route to clearance.

Track 3 - Commercial Buildout. The Convergent Sleep Centers expansion, our Regional Affiliate network, and our growing direct sales team are being aligned for coordinated launch. With 9,000+ sleep-trained dentists in the United States seeing approximately 540,000 patients per week, including an estimated 120,000 to 125,000 OSA patients, the distribution infrastructure we are building has the capacity to scale rapidly.

A Word of Gratitude

None of this happens without the early believers. The Regional Affiliates, investors, advisors, and friends who committed to this company before the clinical data was released, before the strategic partnerships were confirmed, before the manufacturing agreements were solid... YOU made all of it possible. YOU will be among the first to benefit from what we are building. THANK YOU, and Congratulations.

I have built companies that experts said were impossible and watched them succeed at scale. I am more confident about the trajectory of Stimcore than I have been about any venture I have led. The science is sound. The team is exceptional. The market is enormous and underserved. And we are moving forward with excellence at every level.

A MedTech pioneer is more than an innovator.

*It is someone bold enough to develop new medical technologies devices, software, and treatments that improve patient outcomes and help shift the direction of healthcare itself. Much like the pioneers of history who risked everything for the promise of a better life, today’s MedTech leaders invest their time, capital, and careers into exploring uncharted medical territory, often challenging an established healthcare system that has grown comfortable treating symptoms instead of solving causes.

The Pioneer Spirit: Then and Now

*The spirit of the pioneer has not disappeared; it has simply taken a new form. Historical pioneers risked their lives in search of land, freedom, and opportunity. Modern MedTech pioneers risk their resources, reputations, and livelihoods to pursue breakthrough solutions for chronic conditions like Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and other life-impacting disorders. Where early settlers forged trails through wilderness, today’s innovators carve pathways through outdated systems, regulatory barriers, and conventional thinking. *They do not simply imagine a better future; they help build the infrastructure that makes it possible for others to follow.

Dr. Blair Bittner: A True MedTech Pioneer

*Dr. Blair Bittner exemplifies this modern pioneering spirit. Her journey in dental medicine and sleep breathing disorders has been shaped by vision, determination, and a deep desire to improve lives.

DISCOVER I DESIGN I DEVELOP

*For more than 25 years, she has remained committed to advancing patient care, with a special focus on airway health, sleep breathing disorders, and the root causes of poor health. Her work, including her time at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and her leadership in developing My Airro, reflects a relentless pursuit of meaningful, life-changing innovation.

*What sets Dr. Bittner apart is not only her passion for developing solutions, but her belief that true healing requires more than technology alone. She understands that achieving OPTIMAL HEALTH “takes a village,” but it also begins with the individual. She challenges patients to take responsibility for their well-being, knowing that even the best innovations can only succeed when matched by personal accountability and commitment.

Facing Modern Healthcare Challenges

*Today’s MedTech pioneers are confronting a nation burdened by chronic illness… Poor diet, inflammation, and a system often focused on managing disease rather than reversing it have created enormous health challenges. *Visionaries like Dr. Bittner are working to change that narrative, shifting the focus away from symptom-based care and toward long-term physiological and technological solutions that can truly transform lives.

*Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Bittner is, first and foremost, a child, a sister, a wife, a mother, and now a proud grandmother, “Gigi.” Her family is at the center of her heart, and it is that love, along with her deep compassion for her patients, that fuels her mission.

*Blair is a true pioneer, willing to risk it all to make a lasting difference in healthcare and to help create a healthier future for the generations that follow. We owe her a debt of gratitude for all she has given!

Stimcore’s Development Challenge

Design and develop a solution that will:

• Open and support the upper airway of an OSA patient without surgery, hoses, masks, or electric outlets.

• Be accepted and used by most patients on a weekly basis without changing their lifestyle.

• Treat the root causes instead of the symptoms of OSA.

• Be delivered by a professional without relying on insurance codes for success.

• Disrupt the ineffective CPAP industry.

Discoveries and Developments

• Discovery: Dr. Bittner and her team discovered that they could open and support a patient’s upper airway naturally by using frequency-specific bioelectric signals that are non-invasive.

• Device Development: Dr. Bittner and her team designed and developed two smart devices that deliver the bioelectric signal to the sinus and oral cavity.

• 15-Minute Solution: Dr. Bittner and her team developed a 15-minute solution, just 3 times per week, that successfully improves the OSA patient's health and well-being.

BREATH: THE NEW SCIENCE OF A LOST ART

BREATH The New Science of a Lost Art was released May 26, 2020 by Riverhead/Penguin Random House and was an instant New York Times Bestseller. Here’s what it’s all about: No matter what you eat, how much you exercise, how skinny or young or wise you are, none of it matters if you’re not breathing properly.

There is nothing more essential to our health and well-being than breathing: take air in, let it out, repeat 25,000 times a day. Yet, as a species, humans have lost the ability to breathe correctly, with grave consequences.

Journalist James Nestor travels the world to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it. The answers aren’t found in pulmonology labs, as we might expect, but often in the muddy digs of ancient burial sites, secret Soviet facilities, New Jersey choir schools, and the smoggy streets of Sao Paulo. Nestor tracks down men and women exploring the hidden science behind ancient breathing practices like Pranayama, Sudarshan Kriya, and Tummo, and teams up with pulmonary tinkerers to scientifically test long-held beliefs about how we breathe.

Modern research is showing us that making even slight adjustments to the way we inhale and exhale can jump-start athletic performance, rejuvenate internal organs, halt snoring, allergies, asthma, and autoimmune disease, and even straighten scoliotic spines. None of this should be possible, and yet it is.

Drawing on thousands of years of medical texts and recent cutting-edge studies in pulmonology, psychology, biochemistry, and human physiology, BREATH turns the conventional wisdom of what we thought we knew about our most basic biological function on its head. You will never breathe the same again.

BOHR EFFECT

The Bohr effect is a phenomenon first described in 1904 by the Danish physiologist Christian Bohr. Hemoglobin’s oxygen binding affinity (see oxygen – hemoglobin dissociation curve) is inversely related both to acidity and to the concentration of carbon dioxide. That is, the Bohr effect refers to the shift in the oxygen dissociation curve caused by changes in the concentration of carbon dioxide or the pH of the environment. Since carbon dioxide reacts with water to form carbonic acid, an increase in CO2 results in a decrease in blood pH, resulting in hemoglobin proteins releasing their load of oxygen. Conversely, a decrease in carbon dioxide provokes an increase in pH, which results in hemoglobin picking up more oxygen.

Experimental Discovery

The original dissociation curves from Bohr’s experiments in the first description of the Bohr effect show a decrease in oxygen affinity as the partial pressure of carbon dioxide increases. This is also one of the first examples of cooperative binding. X-axis: oxygen partial pressure in mmHg, Y-axis % oxy-hemoglobin. The curves were obtained using whole dog blood, with the exception of the dashed curve, for which horse blood was used.

In the early 1900s, Christian Bohr was a professor at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, already well known for his work in the field of respiratory physiology. He had spent the last two decades studying the solubility of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases in various liquids and had conducted extensive research on hemoglobin and its affinity for oxygen. In 1903, he began working closely with Karl Hasselbalch and August Krogh, two of his associates at the university, in an attempt to experimentally replicate the work of Gustav von Hüfner, using whole blood instead of hemoglobin solution. Hüfner had suggested that the oxygen-hemoglobin binding curve was hyperbolic in shape, but after extensive experimentation, the Copenhagen group determined that the curve was in fact sigmoidal. Furthermore, in the process of plotting out numerous dissociation curves, it soon became apparent that high partial pressures of carbon dioxide caused the curves to shift to the right. Further experimentation while varying the CO2 concentration quickly provided conclusive evidence, confirming the existence of what would soon become known as the Bohr effect.

who was credited with the discovery of the effect in 1904.

BREATHING - THE TRUE EQUALIZER

Breathing is one of the few bodily functions that is both automatic and under your conscious control. While shallow chest breathing can trigger a stress response, intentional deep breathing acts as a powerful tool to regulate your internal environment, reducing inflammation and supporting cellular health.

1. Reducing Systemic Inflammation

Chronic stress keeps the body in a "fight or flight" state, which elevates cortisol and triggers the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines.

• Vagus Nerve Activation: Deep, diaphragmatic breathing stimulates the vagus nerve, the body's main “rest and digest” pathway.

• Blocking Cytokines: Activating this nerve releases acetylcholine, which can block the production of inflammatory markers.

• Lowering Cortisol: Regular breathwork has been shown to significantly reduce cortisol levels, helping to dampen the “smoldering fire” of chronic inflammation.

2. Cellular Oxygenation and Energy

Just as hydration is about getting water into the cells, healthy breathing is about efficient gas exchange..

• Efficient Exchange: Deep breaths allow the body to fully exchange incoming oxygen for outgoing carbon dioxide, ensuring cells have the fuel needed to produce energy.

• Nutrient Delivery: Improved circulation from relaxed, open blood vessels helps transport vital nutrients more efficiently to your organs and tissues.

• Nitric Oxide Boost: Breathing through the nose produces nitric oxide, a molecule that widens blood vessels and further enhances oxygen delivery.

3. Strengthening the “Temple”

Responsible breathing supports the structural and systemic integrity of your body:

• Immune Support: By reducing stress and improving blood flow, healthy breathing helps the immune system clear germs and viruses more effectively.

• Detoxification: Deep movement of the diaphragm massages internal organs and improves the flow of lymph fluid, which helps drain waste from the body.

• Cardiovascular Health: Controlled breathing can lower blood pressure and heart rate, reducing the long-term “wear and tear” on your heart.

Practical "Responsibility" Exercises

You can fulfill your responsibility to your body with these simple techniques:

• 4-7-8 Technique: Inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 7, and exhale for 8 to quickly calm the nervous system.

• Box Breathing: Inhale, hold, exhale, and pause for 4 seconds each to improve focus and stability.

• Diaphragmatic (Belly) Breathing: Place a hand on your stomach and ensure it rises with each inhale to maximize lung capacity and vagus nerve stimulation.

CORE FOUNDATIONS OF…

HYDR ATION

To take responsibility for your body, the “temple” you were born with, it is essential to understand that true hydration is about cellular health, not just drinking eight glasses of water each day. When our cells cannot retain water, they “leak,” leading to systemic inflammation, fatigue, and accelerated aging.

Here are powerful books that explore the critical role of water, hydration, and cellular responsibility:

Core Foundations of Hydration

Your Body’s Many Cries for Water by Dr. F. Batmanghelidj: A foundational text that argues many chronic illnesses such as asthma, arthritis, and hypertension are actually the body’s signals of persistent dehydration. His central message is, “You're not sick, you're thirsty”.

The Water Secret by Dr. Howard Murad: Focuses on the “Science of Cellular Water”.

Dr. Murad explains that the key to health and longevity is the ability of cell membranes to hold water. He encourages “eating your water” through water-rich fruits and vegetables, which stay in the system longer than plain tap water.

New Science and Cellular Wellness

Quench by Dr. Dana Cohen and Gina Bria: This book debunks the myth that drinking more water is the only solution. It introduces the concept of “gel water” (found in plants) and how micro-movements help move hydration through your fascia (connective tissue) to reduce inflammation and brain fog.

The Water Prescription by Christopher Vasey: A guide on how water deficiency contributes to high cholesterol, obesity, and stress. It provides practical "water cures" to remove toxins and restore vital minerals to the body.

Healing and the Spiritual Connection

The True Power of Water by Masaru Emoto: This book explores the idea that water is affected by our thoughts, words, and intentions. It suggests that because our bodies are mostly water, our internal “temple” is physically shaped by the positive or negative energy we project.

Healing Waters: The Powerful Health Benefits of Ionized H2O by Dr. Ben Johnson:

Focuses on the importance of the body's acid-alkaline balance and how oxygen-rich ionized water can help combat chronic disease.

By learning the science behind how your body manages its most precious resource, you fulfill that “Responsibility 101” to maintain your physical and mental well-being for yourself and those you love.

SLEEP

THE ART OF REST: A SIMPLE GUIDE TO BETTER SLEEP

Sleep is not a luxury; it is the foundation of mental clarity, physical health, and emotional balance.

DO The 24-Hour Clock (Daytime Habits)

Good sleep starts the moment you wake up.

• Keep a Consistent Schedule: Wake up and go to bed at the same time every day, including weekends. This trains your body’s internal clock.

• Seek Morning Light: Get natural sunlight in your eyes within 30 minutes of waking. This signals your brain to start the day.

• Exercise Wisely: Regular movement helps you sleep deeper, but try to finish intense workouts at least 3 hours before bed.

• Manage Naps: If you must nap, keep it under 30–60 minutes and before 3 p.m. to avoid disrupting nighttime sleep.

The Evening Wind-Down (1-2 Hours Before Bed)

Your brain needs a bridge between the activity of the day and the rest of the night.

• The 10-5-3-2-1 Rule:

• 10 hours before bed: No more caffeine.

• 3 hours before bed: No more food or alcohol.

• 2 hours before bed: No more work.

• 1 hour before bed: No more screens (phones, TVs, laptops).

• Create a Ritual: Take a warm bath, read a physical book, listen to calming music, or meditate. A warm bath helps lower your core body temperature afterward, which triggers sleepiness.

The Sleep Sanctuary

(Your Bedroom)

Your bedroom should be a place where your brain only thinks of two things: sleep and intimacy.

DON’T

• Keep it Cool, Dark, and Quiet: Ideal temperature is around 65–68°F (18-20°C). Use blackout curtains or an eye mask.

• Remove Gadgets: TVs, computers, and work materials should stay out of the bedroom.

• Hide the Clock: If you wake up in the night, looking at the time creates anxiety about how little sleep you are getting, making it harder to fall back asleep.

What to Do When You Can’t Sleep

• Don't Force It: If you are not asleep after 20 minutes, get out of bed.

• Do Something Boring: Go to another room and read something dull or listen to quiet music in low light.

• Return Only When Sleepy: Go back to bed only when you feel tired, not just to lie there.

Summary Checklist:

Fixed wake-up time.

No caffeine after lunch.

No alcohol/big meals 3 hours before bed.
