St Hilda’s unique position in Mosman Park, Perth with its impressive campuses and location between the river and the sea, combine to make an inspiring and vibrant community. St Hilda’s will continue to be an inspiring place for learning and facilitate connection for all members of the community – students, parents, staff and Old Scholars. The School Council has agreed the Strategic Directions will guide the development and management of the School in seven key focus areas, as reflected in: • Student Wellbeing • Academic Excellence • Professional Staff • Cocurricular Activities • Boarding Life • School Community • Physical Environment School Council maintains a Master Plan and Finance Plan to support the School’s Vision and make provision for linkage between the ideas and vision of the wider community, to thus provide the best possible campus facilities. St Hilda’s will continue to maintain short, medium and long-term financial plans that will facilitate the delivery of a quality education. The St Hilda’s Foundation will continue to manage its funds with a view to supporting the long-term financial objectives of the School.

St Hilda’s will offer an extensive range of cocurricular opportunities, designed to encourage students to develop a sense of achievement and pride in their efforts. We will: 1. Provide structured and rigorous cocurricular programs to meet the needs of our students. 2. Design ‘real world’ experiences beyond the classroom via the Outdoor Education experience. 3. Expect high levels of participation in sport, performing arts and music, so that it is recognised as a key strength of our school. 4. St Hilda’s is committed to providing a quality boarding program as an educational experience that enriches a student’s life and contributes to school life. We will: 1. Provide an environment where boarders are supported academically, socially and emotionally. 2. Ensure each boarding student’s wellbeing is supported, by providing an environment where boarders flourish. 3. Create opportunities for boarders to develop leadership and personal growth. 4. Ensure boarding staff culture is aligned with the values of the School.

St Hilda’s will engage with our community through partnerships that provide opportunities for our students. We aim to: 1. Support the St Hilda’s P&F, Old Scholars Association and Whitby Parents to enable community engagement. 2. Engage meaningfully with alumni, parents and staff to enrich the educational program for current students. 3. Create an active and engaged community to share stories, opportunities and events. 4. Encourage a philanthropic spirit within the School community.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
St Hilda’s will ensure that our building projects achieve environmental sustainability and design excellence to enable effective delivery of our educational and cocurricular programs. We will: 1. Regularly review the School’s Property Master Plans for the Chidley and Bay View campuses, taking into account the current and future curriculum, cocurricular, staff, occupational health and safety, and servicing requirements. 2. Maintain a focus on providing flexible, pleasant and innovative facilities. 3. Continue to upgrade or replace existing building stock to ensure that our facilities match the needs of the education delivery requirements. 4. Monitor transport and parking needs for staff, parents, visitors and students, maintaining close contact with Mosman Park Council and the Public Transport Authority.
