The opening of AngliSchools House: 5 September 2025

The 2025 Year 7 results were consistent with those of our recent Year 7 cohorts, with Writing remaining an identified area for continued development, alongside the Schools broader who e-school literacy focus

The Year 9 cohort demonstrated the strongest growth of the past three comparable cohorts This is an encouraging indicator of the progress that is being made across the middle years academically

One clear area for continued improvement remains Numeracy, particularly when compared with similar schools based on ICSEA In response to this, St Georges has begun introducing phased intensive support style Mathematic classes with expert teachers in Years 7 and 8 These classes maintain the same curriculum and assessment expectations but are more responsive via the intervention strategies that they offer to address any obvious gaps at Year 7 and 8 level for our students

As a School we continue to celebrate the many achievements and accomplishments of all connected with St George’s Anglican Grammar School. We are proud of the commitment to academic excellence by the Class of 2025 and look forward to seeing our future cohorts build further upon these fabulous results.

Our move to 441 Murray Street in July 2025 has enhanced our learning facilities with new state of the art laboratories, dance and drama studios, specialised maths classrooms and the ability to offer woodwork, mechatronics and food technology across the school.

The “Everyone Matters’’ mindset at St George’s continues to be a tagline which we hold close to our hearts. It inspires us to be innovative in our thinking and to continue to improve all that we offer as a school.

The Strategic Plan - Strategy in Action – Towards 2030 drives our thinking and focuses our decision making for the future. It is a future that will see us established as a single campus school at 441 Murray Street in a purpose-built vertical school from the start of the 2030 academic year

The plan clearly maps the next steps in our journey together as we continue to build a brilliant school in the heart of the City of Perth – the City of Lights and a place that we love.
