LETTER FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Welcome to Summer at St. Francis Community Center!

Welcome to the busiest and most vibrant time of year at the St. Francis Community Center! As the sun warms our shores, we are thrilled to open our doors wider than ever, offering a diverse array of programs designed to enrich your life. Whether you are looking to improve your personal health and fitness, seeking security and assistance, or looking for educational and nutritional support, our mission remains the same: to provide a community-driven foundation where every individual can thrive.

This summer marks a significant milestone for us with the official launch of Active.Net, our long-awaited online registration platform. To ensure a seamless experience, we invite all current and prospective participants to visit our website and sign up for an account This new system will make it easier than ever to secure your spot in our expanded lineup of offerings, from our popular early childhood music classes to our brand-new introductory sports clinics in volleyball, lacrosse, flag football, field hockey, soccer, and our specialized speed and strength classes.

Our aquatics program continues to be a cornerstone of the summer experience We are excited to welcome back our full range of swim lessons alongside the Summer Sharks Competitive Swim Team, who will be representing St Francis in exciting meets against local beach and yacht clubs across the island. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to learn to swim; thanks to the Kolman Family Scholarship Fund, financial assistance is available for those in need. You can find more information and apply at stfranciscenterlbi.org/kolmanfund.

For those visiting us for the season, we are pleased to offer twomonth summer pool memberships, providing access to both our indoor and outdoor facilities It is our goal to be your home away from home, whether you are a lifelong resident or a seasonal guest.
