LETTER FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Community Center Happenings & Fall Offerings Dear Community Center Members & Friends, As the leaves begin to turn and we prepare for a vibrant fall season, I'm thrilled to share some exciting news and opportunities from the St. Francis Community Center! First, please join me in extending a warm welcome and congratulations to Laura Laudati, our new Children's Services Director! Laura is stepping into a pivotal role, taking the lead for both our beloved preschool and our popular summer vacation club programs. With a strong belief that early childhood is the foundation for lifelong learning, Laura is eager to build upon our preschool's philosophy. She's also looking forward to forming a Parent Advisory Board for the preschool, and I encourage all interested parents to get involved and help shape the future of these vital programs. I'm also honored to introduce a truly meaningful initiative: The Kolman Family Scholarship Fund for Swimming Lessons. Established in 2024, this fund is a loving tribute to Mark Kolman, a devoted father, educator, and swimmer whose legacy of passion for the water continues to inspire us. Through this scholarship, we aim to ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn to swim, regardless of their family's financial circumstances. The Kolman Family Scholarship is designed to assist families who might otherwise be unable to afford swim lessons. For specific instructions on how to apply for these scholarships, please turn to page 12 in this Fall Activities Guide. Finally, as we plan for the future, your input is invaluable. We want to ensure that the St. Francis Community Center continues to be a vibrant hub that truly serves your needs. I invite all community stakeholders to provide feedback and ideas on the programs and events you'd like to see us undertake. Your insights are crucial in helping us shape offerings that resonate with our community. Please don't hesitate to email me directly at kwalsh@stfrancislbi.org or call me at 609-494-8861 ext. 162. We look forward to seeing you this fall and hearing how our Center can provide COMMUNITY for you and your family! Warmly, Kevin Walsh Executive Director St. Francis Community Center

For the first time, New Jersey residents can apply for three major property tax relief programs on a single application - Form PAS-1. This easy-to-use form is available for seniors as well as homeowners and mobile home owners who are disabled. You can apply for these programs: Property Tax Reimbursement (Senior Freeze); Affordable New Jersey Communities for Homeowners and Renters (ANCHOR); and Stay NJ. This one-stop application can be used by resident homeowners, mobile home owners and renters age 65 and over and those who are receiving federal Social Security Disability benefits. It replaces the previous Senior Freeze forms (PTR-1 and PTR-2) and ANCHOR applications. You will no longer be required to file separate applications to receive benefits from these State programs. The State will determine which programs you are eligible for and calculate the benefits you are entitled to receive. If you previously received benefits from Senior Freeze, ANCHOR or both - there are notable changes to this year's application. For Senior Freeze, the total annual income limits are: • For 2023 $163,050 or less, and • For 2024 - $168,268 or less. NEED HELP filing or have questions?
