Welcome to Johnstown! If you’re a regular Thunder participant, we missed you and welcome back! If you’re visiting for the first time, we hope that you enjoy your time here and come back for future visits to our beautiful region! We’re thrilled to bring you the 23nd edition of Thunder, after a year hiatus!
We have an exciting entertainment lineup for you including Hairball – “a bombastic celebration of arena rock” that’ll put on a show that you won’t soon forget, and the groundbreaking hybrid of country, blues, rock and rap rhythms, Colt Ford. The premium viewing area will guarantee you have the best view of the bands! Thunder’s favorite rocker and multi-award-winning Jasmine Cain, returns to surf the crowd and take everyone on a super-charged ride!
While you’re here, demo a bike from BMW and Kissell Motorsports. Don’t miss Wheels & Wings in Ebensburg on Thursday for plenty of fun.
For the first time, Primanti Brothers will host the Hot Nights/Cool Lights pre-party on Thursday. The Grand Thunder Parade will rumble through downtown Johnstown at noon on Saturday.
As always, our Thunderbolt Saloons will serve up Anheuser-Busch products as well as many of your other favorites! Central Park will be home to a pub this year for the first time ever. All pub proceeds support the rally. We appreciate your support!

THUNDER’S FAVORITE EMCEE!
For the past several pivotal years, Jack Schit, has been the Official Emcee of Thunder in the Valley, all while pulling duties in the epicenter of the greatest and oldest motorcycle rallies in the world in Sturgis, Daytona, Laconia, Mountainfest, Arizona Bike Week, Laughlin, Las Vegas, and more. Jack is a celebrated journalist for Cycle Source Magazine and has been featured on the Travel Channel’s Sturgis Raw, the Discovery Channel’s The Road to Sturgis, the History Channel’s Biker Battleground Phoenix, and one of the biggest television shows in history, FX’s Sons of Anarchy.
