WELCOME TO JOHNSTOWN’S 21ST ANNUAL

Dear Thunder Friends,

Welcome to Johnstown! We are so excited to celebrate the 21st Annual Thunder with thousands of our closest friends! Thank you for making Johnstown your “home away from home” for a few days in June every year!

As the longest-running FREE rally in the Alleghenies and the mid-Atlantic, Thunder continues find new ways to entertain our loyal guests! Don’t miss Cole Freeman’s record-breaking jump on a Harley-Davidson full dresser on Saturday. Nobody else in the world is jumping a heavy bike, so Thunder is the ONLY place to watch this feat!

We’re also providing a one-two entertainment punch – two feature concerts! Quiet Riot takes the stage Friday night at the Train Station, and Great White will rock the house Saturday night, followed by the best of the best AC/DC tribute band Hells/Bells. Premium viewing area is available to get the best view of the bands!

The weekend also includes great performances by The Stickers, rocker Jasmine Cain, Joe Grushecky and the House Rockers, Felix and The Hurricanes, Norm Nardini, and other Thunder favorites as well as bands new to Thunder!

The Ill Conduct Harley-Davidson Stunt Team will thrill young and old alike with scheduled shows on Johns St. near Point Stadium, and America’s Original Motorcycle Thrill Show – The American Motor Drome Wall of Death - will take to the 14-ft. vertical wood wall and defy the laws of gravity.

Demo a bike from Yamaha, Harley-Davidson, Aprilia and Moto Guzzi! Don’t miss Wheels & Wings in Ebensburg on Thursday; A.B.A.T.E.’s Official Thunder Welcome Party and Thunder Bash at Greenhouse Park; and guided rides to the Flight 93 National Memorial and other destinations.

As always, our Thunderbolt Saloons will be serving up a variety of cold and tasty Anheuser-Busch products as well as your favorite mixed drinks! All pub proceeds support the rally and help us to keep it FREE! We appreciate your support!

We owe a big THANK YOU to so many individuals and organizations who work with us on Thunder throughout the year, many of whom work behind the scenes and support the Convention and Visitors Bureau and Thunder in so many ways.

We are particularly appreciative to our loyal Thunder fans who attend our rally each year, as well as those of you who are just visiting for the first time. We hope you’ll take the time to explore our area. Enjoy our beautiful scenery and winding roads, and please plan a return visit to our events and attractions!

THUNDER IN THE VAEY !®

Support the rally by purchasing only OFFICIALLY LICENSED Thunder in the Valley® merchandise to help Thunder continue for years to come.

Best Regards,
