What does four years of high school and the fourth straight rerun of your favorite Netfix show have in common? While both may feel a bit boring after a while, you can’t help but miss them when they’re gone. It is undeniable that sitting in class second semester makes you contemplate your existence and yearn to fast forward to college. Yet it doesn’t take long after graduation till you wonder where the time went. The key for achieving this blast to the past lies in your hand: your phone.
Staying connected to Stevenson is actually quite simple, and it all starts with the email that marks the passing of time: the Daily 1 Digest. Staying subscribed to the Digest 6 is a great way to keep in touch with Stevenson’s academic and athletic achievements. Don’t forget to also see if the 15-minute passing periods from Zoom fnally became reality and if Troy Gobble learned the defnition of “cap.” All you have to do is scroll down to the bottom of any Digest and click on the subscribe link, where you can enter your name and personal email address.
Graduating high school doesn’t mean losing the friends you made along the way. While you will cer-

tainly meet new people and make new friends in college or any other post- secondary plan, you don’t have to unfollow all of your high school friends on social media. Keeping in touch via Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook is an easy and casual way to stay connected without veering into stalking. You don’t have to stick to just people either; many Stevenson teams have their own Instagram and Twitter accounts to follow as well. Being the frst like for the next Stevenson state champions post will defnitely hit different ten years from now. While legend has it that brave daredevils have relived the high school experience by wearing a backpack, walking into Stevenson and chilling in the ILC all day, it’s not a route we would recommend. Getting caught sneaking in will actually result in a lifetime ban from Stevenson—and while certainly bold, is not exactly the best way to go out. So much for once a Patriot, always a Patriot. Instead, get an offcial visitor’s badge by presenting a state ID at any of the school’s entrances. You must contact a teacher about the details of your visit in advance. Honestly, the best option for staying connected with Stevenson is not by asking to be invited back, but by having Stevenson ask to have you come back. Of course, for that to happen, a certain amount of fame, not infamy, is required. We’re not saying to dedicate the rest of your life to becoming the next GOAT in a sport, become verifed on Twitter or grace the cover of Time Magazine, but Stevenson always says, success for every student. Best of luck with those endeavors and enjoy life as an alumni.
