PRESIDENT’S REPORT April already, we’ve had many discussions about the water heater bill to no avail. It seems as if it reaches a point then just falls to the way side only to start all over again. I don’t get politics, I thought they were there for the benefit of the common good. We have a lobbyist that speaks for us but again to no avail. Write to each and every lawmaker on a weekly basis? Having 1 person speak for us does not work. I’m asking each and everyone of you to write your representatives and express your concerns about the stagnation of this bill, Be a pain in the ass!! Do it daily if you have to. I don’t think they even know what the bill is about. I don’t think they care. If they don’t hear people complain it goes away in their minds, They have to be pushed and prodded like cattle, so push and prod. Contact your representatives, learn who they are, spread the word at your local meetings!! Let’s see if we as a league can make a difference... Thank you very much, have a nice day.
