The Tech Policy Fellowship 2023

I hope your travel went well. Welcome to Brussels for the in-person week of the EU Tech Policy Fellowship 2023

Over the last month it's been a great pleasure to get to know all of you a bit better. I firmly believe that this one of the most talented groups I have worked with in my career, and I really don't say that to all the groups!

I do want to stress that we live in a "time of perils" It is up to governments around the globe to prevent us from global catastrophic risks. Therefore your career has the potential to contribute to the future of this continent and possibly to the future of countless generations.

This could be a heavy burden to carry but there is no need to carry this alone Just take a look around the room as we go through the sessions this week My hope is that this cohort will become a true fellowship, on a lifelong journey towards a safe and prosperous future for this continent and humanity.
