In her career she can book several high class results at prestigious shows such as CSI5*-W Verona 2021, CSI5* Doha 2018 and CSI5* Shanghai 2018 and has already made a name for herself in the breeding world with top performing offsprings.

Emilie Conter’s approved stallion Replay van’t Paradijs and Daniel Deusser’s Quaresma van’t Paradijs are currently impressing at the youngster classes while Sea Coast Monalisa van’t Paradijs can boast placings at CSI5* events like Sopot 2023, Paris 2023 and ’s-Hertogenbosch 2023.

De Stephex Stables merrie Jeunesse van’t Paradijs behoeft weinig introductie! In haar carrière kan ze al meerdere topresultaten boeken op prestigieuze concours zoals CSI5*-W Verona 2021, CSI5* Doha 2018 en CSI5* Shanghai 2018 en heeft ze al naam gemaakt in de fokkerijwereld met top presterende nakomelingen.

ELCHINNI VAN DE FLANDRIA

Kracotte Z is none less than the last daughter of Narcotique de Muze II - a historic mare unforgotten for her success at the highest level of the sport with Eric Lamaze. Kracotte pairs the precious bloodline of Narcotique de Muze with Kannan, the influential breeding stallion that has brought forth so many top talents such as Quabri de l’Isle or Tokyo 2 and that favors every bloodline’s sport results.

Elchinni van de Flandria has already proven to be a success with results by her offspring Jasmien vd Bisschop such as the first place in the CSI5* GP of Hamburg 2018, first place at the CSIO5* Sopot 2019, second in the CSI5*-W Bordeaux 2020 and just last year she won again at the CSI5*-W 150cm in Madrid with Daniel Deusser!

Elchinni’s other offsprings such as Kurtis vd Bisschop are also already performing at the high classes and her foal Hightech Pommex Z met record breaking interest during the Stephex Exclusive Breeding Collection - Foal Auction 2020!

Kracotte Z is niemand minder dan de laatste dochter van Narcotique de Muze II - een historische merrie die onvergetelijk is vanwege haar succes op het hoogste niveau van de sport met Eric Lamaze. Kracotte koppelt de kostbare bloedlijn van Narcotique de Muze aan Kannan, de invloedrijke fokhengst die zoveel toptalenten heeft voortgebracht zoals Quabri de l’Isle of Tokyo 2 en die de sportresultaten van elke bloedlijn ten goede komt.

AMARYLLIS

ERENICE HORTA

Amaryllis is a highly athletic mare that has competed herself at the highest level with Pedro Veniss. She took home a top ranking in the FEI World Equestrian Games of Lexington in 2010 as well as numerous top placings such as a 3rd place in the CSI 5* Madrid 2010, 2nd CSI 4* La Coruna 2010. Her success as a sport and breeding mare is no question of chance as she boast top liners such as Cumano and Darco in her own pedigree.

Erenice Horta is still very much on top of our minds not only for her sport success but also her breeding achievements! Herself she was able to score top results such as 7th in the CSI5*-W of London-Olympia in 2012, 5th of the CSI5*-W Lyon 2012 and 5th of the CSI5* ‘s Hertogenbosch 2012! Moreover, her famous daughter Irenice Horta the grey mare produced by Zoe Conter to 5 * Level, then to Lorenzo de Luca who jumped the WEG at Tryon and afterwords sold to Cian O’Connor who jumped the biggest GP with her at the ROLEX GP of Aachen. Erenice’s other offspring, Morris Horta, is also already performing at the highest levels!

Amaryllis is een zeer atletische merrie die zelf op het hoogste niveau heeft meegedaan met Pedro Veniss en zelfs een topklassering in de FEI World Equestrian Games of Lexington in 2010 mee naar huis nam, evenals talrijke topklasseringen zoals een 3e plaats in de CSI 5* Madrid 2010, 2e CSI 4* La Coruna 2010. Zelf wist ze topprestaties neer te zetten zoals 7e in de CSI5*-W van Londen-Olympia in 2012, 5e van de CSI5*-W Lyon 2012 en 5e van de CSI5* ‘s Hertogenbosch 2012! Bovendien is haar beroemde dochter Irenice Horta de schimmelmerrie die Zoe Conter tot 5*-niveau bracht, daarna verkocht aan Lorenzo de Luca die de WEG in Tryon sprong en daarna verkocht aan Cian O’Connor die met haar de grootste GP sprong zoals de ROLEX GP van Aken. Erenice’s andere nakomeling, Morris Horta, presteert ook al op het hoogste niveau!

Equita van’t Zorgvliet, the Stephex Stables sensation mare who will forever be in our sport hearts and memories winning among others the CSI5* Windsor in 2018, the CSI5*-W London-Olympia 2016, CSI5* Knokke 2016 and the CSI5*-W Lyon 2016 with Daniel Deusser! Next to her sensational sport results she has also brought forth already several offspring that are all competing at the highest level such as Hit Me van’t Zorgvliet, Imago vd Heffinck and Joy van’t Zorgvliet!

Dam Soory de l’Hallali is a Stephex Success Story like no other!

After many top accomplishments at the CSI5* Wellington 2019, CSI5* Shanghai, CSI5* Knokke and CSI5* Paris, Zoe Conter took over Soory’s reins in 2020 and found her perfect companion.

The pair quickly progressed together and continued impressing among others at the CSI4* St Tropez Grimaud 2020. It is a great pleasure to see Soory’s Stephex Success Story continue in the breeding!

STEPHEX STABLES NV, a public limited company with its registered office at 8 Lovegemstraat, 1861 Meise, Belgium, registered in the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises register under number 0477.214.858, organises during her event BRUSSELS STEPHEX MASTERS an auction with 17 foals in 16 lots to be held on Thursday evening 24 .08.2023 , 21.00h CET STEPHEX STABLES NV sells its own foals through its auction.

2 Participation in this auction shall imply the explicit taking note and acceptance of these Auction Terms and Conditions without any reservation.

3 The live auction will be broadcast on the Internet via clipmyhorse. The buyer who wishes to bid online must register via the website www.stephex.auction in the manner prescribed by STEPHEX STABLES on the auction website before he can participate in the online auction. This registration counts as unconditional acceptance of the auction conditions. Furthermore, by participating in an auction, the buyer declares to be authorized to perform legal acts and the buyer declares himself authorized to conclude a purchase agreement with regard to the foal in question.

STEPHEX STABLES reserves the right to refuse or unilaterally terminate registration and participation in an auction at any time. At the first request of STEPHEX STABLES, the buyer must submit a valid identity document, failing which the buyer may not participate in the auction. The buyer is obliged to ensure that all information to be provided by the bidder to STEPHEX STABLES is completed completely, correctly and truthfully upon registration and the buyer guarantees the correctness and completeness of the information provided by him. Should this information change at any time, the purchaser is obliged to immediately notify STEPHEX STABLES of this change (s). The username and password used by the buyer for an auction are strictly personal and may not be transferred by a buyer to third parties. If the buyer suspects that someone else knows his or her password, the bidder must notify STEPHEX STABLES immediately. The buyer is liable for and bound by all transactions that take place at an auction and that result from the use of his / her password and / or username, also in case of misuse

if the buyer has handled his / her username and password with negligence.

4 The buyer is aware and expressly agrees that the services available through the website are limited to making it technically possible to follow the auction via the internet and participate in the auction as a bidder.

STEPHEX STABLES NV has and does not take any responsibility for the organization and course of the auction via its website (for example and without intending to be exhaustive: the failure of the website during the auction or the delay in the operation of the website during the auction ). STEPHEX STALBLES makes every effort to protect its systems against loss of data and / or against any form of unlawful use and takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to this end. In dealing with STEPHEX STABLES, the buyer is obliged to adequately secure the computer and / or any other device that he / she uses to access the auction website, and as usual to protect against viruses or other illegal programs or files that may spread over the internet.

5 The auction lots shall be auctioned in the state they are in at the time of the auction.

6 The sale shall be made in accordance with the laws of Belgium by means of auctioning and knocking down to the highest bidder after payment of the settlement amount, whether or not to be increased by VAT. The auction shall be supervised by an Auctioneer to be designated by STEPHEX STABLES NV, who shall draw up an official report of the knocking down.

7 Bids are made by auction (per EUR 1,000.00 up to EUR 20,000.00, per EUR 2,000.00 from EUR 20,000.00) 8 The bids and payments shall be made in EUROS. 9 The auction lots shall be knocked down to the highest bidder at the end of the auction. With regard to the Purchaser, the settlement price shall be calculated as follows: the knocking down price plus any applicable VAT. By making a bid, the bidder undertakes to pay the settlement amount after the knocking down.

10 If the Buyer withdraws, for whatever reason, STEPHEX STABLES NV is entitled to re-auction the auction lot.

The private buyer / consumer has a right of withdrawal of 14 days. The initial buyer is obliged to pay STEPHEX STABLES NV of the costs associated with this re-

auction, at least of the difference in the purchase price that was not realized during the resale.

11 If the buyer cannot be identified, STEPHEX STABLES NV is entitled to resell the auction lot.

12 The provisional knocking down shall be made under the condition precedent of approval by STEPHEX STABLES NV. Immediately after the knocking down of the auction the Auctioneer shall request STEPHEX STABLES NV to confirm its eventual approval in order to obtain the final knocking down of the auction lots.

13 The settlement amount shall be due immediately upon the knocking down. The ownership of the auction lot shall be transferred at the moment of receipt of payment by the Purchaser by STEPHEX STABLES NV. 14 STEPHEX STABLES NV shall issue an invoice to the Purchaser, which invoice shall be payable cash and must be settled on the account of STEPHEX STABLES NV prior to the delivery.

15 If STEPHEX STABLES NV has not received full payment from the Purchaser within 5 working days from the auction, the Purchaser shall be legally in default and obliged to make, in addition to the other amounts owed to and in favour of STEPHEX STABLES NV, (a) an interest payment of 1% per month on the total settlement amount due to be calculated from the day of the auction until the day of full payment and (b) to pay additional damages amounting to 10% of the settlement amount.

16 If STEPHEX STABLES NV has not received full payment from the Purchaser within 5 working days from the auction, STEPHEX STABLES NV shall also be entitled to consider the purchase terminated without notice of default, with the possibility for STEPHEX STABLES NV to charge fixed damages of 20% on the settlement amount.

17 Any liability with regard to the auctioned lots shall pass to the Purchaser immediately after they have been knocked down. After the auction and payment, the Purchaser and STEPHEX STABLES shall come to an arrangement for the delivery of the lots in mutual consultation. The delivery shall take place in Belgium at the address of the registered office of STEPHEX STABLES NV unless agreed otherwise in writing between the parties hereto. Any transport costs shall be borne by the Purchaser.

18 STEPHEX STABLES NV draws the attention of the purchaser to the fact that the purchaser has the option of taking out insurance with Catherine De Buyl Insurance immediately after purchase.

19 STEPHEX STABLES NV shall ultimately settle any and all such disputes as may arise during the auction transactions with regard to the sale.

20 The Purchaser cannot derive any right from the fact that STEPHEX STABLES selected the auction lots.

21 The information regarding the foals offered for sale is only intended to give an impression of the qualities of the lots, without pretending to be complete and without giving guarantees. STEPHEX STABLES NV shall not be liable for any printing errors and/or material errors in the auction catalogue or on its website and in its online catalogue.

22 STEPHEX STABLES NV shall not be liable for any visible and/ or hidden defects. In any case, the liability of STEPHEX STABLES NV shall be limited to the maximum amount paid by the Purchaser and to the amounts covered by its insurer.

23 In the event of export, the Purchaser shall submit a valid export document within 3 months from the auction; otherwise the VAT due shall still be charged by STEPHEX STABLES NV to the Purchaser 24 STEPHEX STABLES NV reserves the right to modify these Auction Terms and Conditions without prior notice. Should one or more of the provisions stated in the Auction Terms and Conditions not be legally valid or become legally invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue to be legally valid. In that case, a new provision shall replace the aforementioned provision that is not legally valid, which will correspond as much as possible to the old provision that is not legally valid with regard to content, scope and purpose.

25 In the event of a dispute, only the Dutch text shall apply. The translation of these Auction Terms and Conditions into a language other than Dutch shall be merely for information purposes.

26 STEPHEX STABLES NV shall ultimately settle all such disputes as may arise during the auction transactions with regard to the sale.

27 Any dispute arising from this auction and its consequences shall be governed exclusively by the laws of Belgium to the exclusion of the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The Brussels Dutch-speaking Enterprise Court and the Brussels Dutchspeaking Court of First Instance shall have exclusive jurisdiction in any disputes.

ALGEMENE VOORWAARDEN 1

STEPHEX STABLES NV, met maatschappelijke zetel te 1861 Meise (België) aan de lovegemstraat 8, ingeschreven in het KBO-register onder het nr. 0477.214.858 organiseert tijdens haar evenement BRUSSELS STEPHEX MASTERS een veiling van 16 loten met 17 veulens dewelke gehouden wordt op donderdagavond 24/08/2023 , 21.00h CET. STEPHEX STABLES verkoopt enkel loten dewelke haar eigendom zijn.

2 Het deelnemen aan deze veiling impliceert de uitdrukkelijke en voorbehoudsloze kennisname en aanvaarding van deze veilingvoorwaarden.

3 De live veiling wordt uitgezonden op het internet via clipmyhorse. De koper die online wenst te bieden dient zich via de website www.stephex.auction te registreren op de door STEPHEX STABLES voorgeschreven wijze op de veilingwebsite alvorens hij kan deelnemen aan de veiling. Deze registratie geldt als onvoorwaardelijke aanvaarding van de veilingvoorwaarden. Verder verklaart de koper door deelname aan een veiling bevoegd te zijn tot het verrichten van rechtshandelingen en verklaart de koper zich bevoegd tot het sluiten van een koopovereenkomst met betrekking tot het betreffende veulen. STEPHEX STABLES behoudt zich het recht voor om de registratie en deelname aan een veiling op elk moment te weigeren of eenzijdig te beëindigen.

Op eerste verzoek van STEPHEX STABLES dient de koper een geldig identiteitsbewijs te overleggen, bij gebreke waarvan de koper niet mag deelnemen aan de veiling. De koper is verplicht ervoor te zorgen dat alle door de bieder aan STEPHEX STABLES te verstrekken informatie bij inschrijving volledig, juist en naar waarheid is ingevuld en de koper staat in voor de juistheid en volledigheid van de door hem verstrekte informatie.

Mocht deze informatie op enig moment wijzigen, dan is de koper verplicht STEPHEX STABLES onmiddellijk van deze wijziging (en) op de hoogte te stellen. De gebruikersnaam en het wachtwoord die door de koper voor een veiling worden gebruikt, zijn strikt persoonlijk en mogen door een koper niet aan derden worden overgedragen. Als de koper vermoedt dat iemand anders zijn of haar wachtwoord kent, moet de bieder STEPHEX STABLES hiervan onmiddellijk op de hoogte stellen. De koper is aansprakelijk voor en gebonden aan alle transacties die plaatsvinden op een veiling en die voortvloeien uit het gebruik van zijn / haar wachtwoord en / of gebruikersnaam, ook in geval van misbruik indien de koper onzorgvuldig is omgegaan met zijn / haar gebruikersnaam en wachtwoord.

4 De koper is zich er van bewust en stemt er uitdrukkelijk mee in dat de via de website beschikbare diensten beperkt zijn tot het technisch mogelijk maken van het via het internet volgen van de veiling en het als bieder participeren aan de veiling. STEPHEX STABLES NV heeft en neemt geen enkele verantwoordelijkheid voor de organisatie en het verloop van de veiling via haar website (bijvoorbeeld en zonder limitatief te willen zijn: het uitvallen van de website tijdens de veiling of de vertraging van de werking van de website tijdens de veiling). STEPHEX STALBLES stelt alles in het werk om haar systemen te beveiligen tegen verlies van gegevens en / of tegen enige vorm van onrechtmatig gebruik en treft hiertoe passende technische en organisatorische maatregelen. In zijn omgang met STEPHEX STABLES is de koper verplicht om de computer en / of elk ander apparaat dat hij / zij gebruikt om toegang te krijgen tot de veilingwebsite adequaat te beveiligen, en zoals gebruikelijk te beschermen tegen virussen of andere onwettige programma’s of bestanden die kunnen verspreid via internet.

5 De loten worden verkocht in de staat waarin zij verkeren ten tijde van de veiling.

6 De verkoop komt tot stand volgens Belgisch recht door middel van veiling en toewijzing aan de hoogste bieder na betaling van het afrekeningsbedrag al dan niet te verhogen met BTW. De veiling staat onder toezicht van een door STEPHEX STABLES NV aan te duiden veilingmeester dewelke een proces-verbaal van de toewijzing opmaakt.

7 De biedingen geschieden per opbod (per 1.000,00 EUR tot 20.000,00 EUR, per 2.000,00 EUR vanaf 20.000,00 EUR) 8 De betalingen geschieden in EURO 9 De loten worden op het einde van de veiling toegewezen aan de hoogste bieder. De afrekening wordt ten aanzien van de koper als volgt berekend: de toewijzingsprijs + de van toepassing zijnde BTW, is het afrekeningsbedrag.

Met het uitbrengen van een bod verbindt de bieder zich na toewijzing tot betaling van het afrekeningsbedrag.

10 Indien de Koper zich terugtrekt, om welke reden dan ook, is STEPHEX STABLES NV gerechtigd om het veulen opnieuw te verkopen. De particuliere koper/ consument beschikt over een herroepingsrecht van 14 dagen. De initiële koper is gehouden tot betaling aan STEPHEX STABLES NV van de kosten dewelke met deze wederverkoop gepaard gaan, minstens van het verschil in de koopprijs dewelke tijdens de wederverkoop niet gerealiseerd werd.

11 Indien de koper niet geïdentificeerd kan worden, is STEPHEX STABLES NV gerechtigd om het veulen opnieuw te verkopen.

12 De voorlopige toewijzing geschiedt onder de opschortende voorwaarde van de goedkeuring door STEPHEX STABLES NV. Onmiddellijk na de toewijzing zal de veilingmeester aan STEPHEX STABLES NV verzoeken om haar gebeurlijke goedkeuring te willen bevestigen om de definitieve toewijzing van het veulen te kunnen bekomen.

13 Het afrekeningsbedrag is onmiddellijk verschuldigd bij toewijzing. De eigendom van het veulen gaat over op het ogenblik van de ontvangst door STEPHEX STABLES NV van de betaling door de koper.

14 STEPHEX STABLES NV reikt aan de koper een factuur uit dewelke contact betaalbaar is en voorafgaandelijk aan de levering van het veulen aan de koper vereffend dient te worden op de rekening van STEPHEX STABLES NV. 15 Indien STEPHEX STABLES NV niet binnen de 5 werkdagen na de veiling de algehele betaling van de koper heeft ontvangen, is de koper van rechtswege in verzuim en verplicht om naast het overig verschuldigde aan en ten behoeve van STEPHEX STABLES NV te betalen (a) een intrestvergoeding van 1% per maand over het totaal verschuldigde afrekeningsbedrag te berekenen vanaf de dag van de veiling tot op de dag van de integrale betaling en (b) een aanvullende schadevergoeding ten bedrage van 10% op het afrekeningsbedrag.

16 Indien STEPHEX STABLES NV binnen de 5 werkdagen na de veiling de algehele betaling van de koper niet ontvangen heeft, heeft STEPHEX STABLES NV voorts het recht zonder ingebrekestelling de koop als ontbonden te beschouwen, met de mogelijkheid voor STEPHEX STABLES NV om een forfaitaire schadevergoeding van 20% op het afrekeningsbedrag in rekening te brengen.

17 Iedere aansprakelijkheid ten aanzien van de geveilde loten gaat onmiddellijk na toewijzing over op de koper. Na de veiling én betaling treffen koper en STEPHEX STABLES in onderling overleg de schikkingen voor de levering. De levering geschiedt in België op het adres van de maatschappelijke zetel van de STEPHEX STABLES NV tenzij andersluidende schriftelijke afspraken tussen partijen. Gebeurlijke transportkosten zijn ten laste van de koper.

18 STEPHEX STABLES NV maakt de koper er attent op dat de koper de mogelijkheid heeft om onmiddellijk na aankoop een verzekering af te sluiten bij Catherine De Buyl Insurance.

19 STEPHEX STABLES NV beslecht in laatste instantie alle betwistingen die tijdens de veilingverrichtingen nopens de veiling zouden kunnen ontstaan.

20 De koper kan geen recht ontlenen aan het feit dat STEPHEX STABLES de loten heeft geselecteerd.

21 De informatie betreffende de te koop aangeboden loten is er enkel op gericht een indruk te geven over de kwaliteiten van de loten, zonder de pretentie volledig te zijn en zonder daarmee garanties te geven. STEPHEX STABLES NV is niet aansprakelijk voor gebeurlijke drukfouten en/of materiële vergissingen in de catalogus of foutieve vermeldingen op haar website.

22 STEPHEX STABLES NV is niet aansprakelijk voor zichtbare en/of verborgen gebreken. Alleszins is de aansprakelijkheid van

STEPHEX STABLES NV maximaal beperkt tot de door de koper afrekeningsbedrag en door de bedragen dewelke door haar verzekeraar gedekt worden.

23 In geval van export zal de koper binnen 3 maanden na de veiling een geldig exportdocument voorleggen op straffe van het alsnog door STEPHEX STABLES NV in rekening brengen van de verschuldigde BTW. 24 STEPHEX STABLES NV behoudt zich het recht voor om deze veilingvoorwaarden zonder voorafgaande aankondiging aan te passen. Indien een of meer van in de veilingvoorwaarden genoemde bepalingen niet rechtsgeldig zouden zijn of worden, blijven de overige bepalingen verder rechtsgeldig. In dat geval treedt in plaats van de bedoelde niet rechtsgeldige bepaling een nieuwe bepaling, die met de bedoelde oude niet rechtsgeldige bepaling zoveel als mogelijk overeenkomt voor wat betreft inhoud, het bereik en het doel daarvan.

25 Bij betwisting geldt uitsluitend de Nederlandse tekst. De vertaling van deze veilingvoorwaarden in een andere taal dan het Nederlands is louter informatief.

26 STEPHEX STABLES NV zal in laatste aanleg alle geschillen regelen die kunnen ontstaan tijdens of over de veiling.

27 Elk geschil voortvloeiende uit deze veiling en haar gevolgen wordt uitsluitend beheerst door de Belgische wet met uitsluiting van de bepalingen van het Weens Koopverdrag inzake internationale koop-verkoop. De Nederlandstalige Ondernemingsrechtbank van Brussel en de Nederlandstalige rechtbank van eerste aanleg van Brussel zijn exclusief bevoegd om kennis te nemen van gebeurlijke geschillen.
