RIDERS & HOSTS OF THE HOME OF CHAMPIONS 2026 Edition This year’s Brussels Stephex Masters promises to be a particularly special edition. In an exceptional season shaped by the FEI Jumping World Championship in Aachen, we are incredibly proud to welcome many of the world’s best riders back to the Home of Champions. Seeing such an international field come together in Brussels is something we are very proud of. For 2026, we also wanted to continue evolving the event and opening the Brussels Stephex Masters to an even wider audience. The new Brussels Derby Challenge will bring a completely different sporting spectacle to our grass arenas, while the new Grandstand Experience will give more visitors the opportunity to enjoy the action from a reserved seat. But the Brussels Stephex Masters has always been about more than sport. From Kids Day and the Equestrian & Lifestyle Villages to hospitality, entertainment and the atmosphere around the arenas, our ambition is to create five days that everyone can enjoy, whether they are lifelong show jumping fans or discovering our sport for the first time. Together with the entire team, we are very much looking forward to welcoming riders, partners, guests and visitors from around the world. Welcome to the Home of Champions.

,

Zoe & Emilie Conter Event Directors, Brussels Stephex Masters

The Brussels Stephex Masters has always been more than just a horse show to me. Every year, our ambition is to bring together the very best of our sport while continuing to develop an event that people genuinely enjoy being part of. The 2026 edition comes during an exceptional sporting year. With the World Championship in Aachen taking place shortly before Brussels, we have adapted our programme to respect the planning of riders and, above all, the welfare and management of their horses, while maintaining the level of sport that defines the Brussels Stephex Masters. At the same time, we continue to look forward. The introduction of the Brussels Derby Challenge and the new Grandstand Experience are two examples of how we want the event to evolve: creating new sporting moments while making the experience accessible to an even broader audience. For five days, Stephex Stables becomes a meeting place for riders, owners, partners, families and fans from around the world. That atmosphere is what makes this event so special to us. I look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Home of Champions.

ROLEX

Series

Legacy of Excellence in Equestrian Sport Brussels Stephex Masters is proud to be part of the prestigious Rolex Series, a label that represents the very best of international show jumping. Building on its remarkable legacy, the Rolex Series continues to set new standards of excellence and innovation in the equestrian world. Comprising seven iconic events : Wellington International – Rolex finale week, CSIO Roma Piazza di Siena, Jumping International de La Baule – Officiel de France, Jumping International de Dinard, Falsterbo Horse Show, Gallagher Dublin Horse Show and Brussels Stephex Masters, the Rolex Series unites the sport’s most historic venues and most passionate audiences. At the heart of each event lies the Rolex Grand Prix, where the greatest riders and horses compete head-to-head for one of the most coveted victories in show jumping. To triumph in a Rolex Grand Prix is to join the sport’s elite, a mark of prestige, consistency, and excellence. At the Brussels Stephex Masters, the spotlight will shine on the Rolex Grand Prix presented by Audi, taking place on Sunday, 30 August at 2:30 PM.

A PROGRAMME DESIGNED AROUND THE HORSES Always.

WHAT’S

New ? Brussels Derby Challenge A completely new sporting spectacle is coming to the Home of Champions. On Saturday 29 August at 1:30 PM, the inaugural Brussels Derby Challenge will make full use of the exceptional grass arenas at Stephex Stables. Taking place across the Sablon Arena and Place de l’Atomium, the course will combine traditional fences with natural obstacles including banks, hedges and ditches.

An Exceptional Adjustment for an Exceptional Season The Nations Cup presented by STX Finance will not take place during the 2026 Brussels Stephex Masters. This one-year adjustment was made following careful consideration of an exceptional international calendar. With the FEI Jumping World Championship in Aachen taking place only days before Brussels, riders, owners and their teams face particularly demanding decisions regarding the management and planning of their top horses.

Rarely seen on today’s international calendar, the derby offers a completely different test of trust, technique and courage, and one of the most spectacular experiences for spectators.

By adapting the programme, the Brussels Stephex Masters aims to give leading riders greater flexibility while reducing the pressure on their horses and maintaining an exceptional international field throughout the week. The Nations Cup remains an important part of the event’s identity, with this adjustment applying specifically to the 2026 edition.

The Grandstand Experience New for 2026, the Grandstand Experience offers visitors a new way to enjoy world-class sport at the Brussels Stephex Masters. While entrance to the event remains completely free, spectators can now upgrade their visit with a reserved Grandstand seat overlooking the Main Arena, bringing them even closer to the action and some of the biggest sporting moments of the week. The initiative reflects the event’s ambition to make the Brussels Stephex Masters accessible to an even broader audience while offering visitors the freedom to choose how they experience the Home of Champions.

THE CHAMPION RETURNS Interview

y e a v e l l a M with Nina

After her unforgettable victory with Dynastie de Beaufour in the 2025 Rolex Grand Prix presented by Audi, Nina Mallevaey returns to the Brussels Stephex Masters as defending champion. One year on, she looks back on a career-defining moment and shares her thoughts ahead of her return to the Home of Champions. You return to Brussels this year as the defending Rolex Grand Prix champion. How does it feel to come back to a place where you experienced such an important victory? It feels very special. Brussels will always be an important show for me because of what happened last year. It was one of the biggest wins of my career so far and an incredible moment to share with Dynastie and our whole team. Coming back brings back so many great memories and, of course, makes me even more excited to compete there again.

“THE BRUSSELS STEPHEX MASTERS WAS THE PERFECT STAGE FOR MY FIRST 5* GRAND PRIX VICTORY, A DREAM COME TRUE.” – Nina Mallevaey

Coming back as defending champion, do you feel more pressure or even more motivation? Probably more motivation than pressure! What would it mean to win the Rolex Grand Prix presented by Audi for a second consecutive year? It would be incredible! Now that I know what it feels like to win there, it makes me want to experience that feeling again even more.

What do you remember most vividly from your Rolex Grand Prix presented by Audi win last year? Probably the feeling when I realised we had won. Everything happens so quickly that you don’t really have time to think about what it could mean. Then suddenly it was done, and seeing my dad, our team, the Rein family and everyone around us so happy made it even more special. Those are the moments we work for every day.

19 riders from the World Top 35 are expected this year. What kind of competition are you expecting? It’s going to be a very competitive Grand Prix, for sure. With so many of the world’s best riders and horses, you know the level will be extremely high and there will be very little room for mistakes. But that’s also what makes these Grand Prix classes so exciting. You want to compete against the best in the world, and it pushes everyone to be at their best.

When you entered the arena for the second round, did you feel that victory was possible? I knew Dynastie was in good form and capable of winning a Grand Prix like this. I was 100% motivated when I entered the arena. We had a real chance, and I tried to give everything.

Finally, if you could describe your 2025 victory in Brussels in three words, what would they be? Unforgettable. Emotional. Teamwork.

Has that victory changed anything for you, either in your career or in the way you approach major Grand Prix classes today? I think every big experience helps you grow as a rider. Winning a Grand Prix like Brussels gives you confidence because you know that you and your horse are capable of performing at that level. But at the same time, our sport keeps you very humble. Every week is different, every course is different and nothing is ever guaranteed. I try to keep the same approach: work hard, listen to my horses and keep improving. What makes the Brussels Stephex Masters different from other international events from a rider’s perspective? Everything is done at a very high level and the atmosphere is really special. The arena, the crowd, the quality of the sport and all the details around the event make it a show that, as a rider, you really look forward to competing at. I also remember how the whole crowd stayed for the prize-giving ceremony last year. That made the victory even more special.

Over the years, some of the greatest names in international show jumping have claimed victory in Brussels, but one rider currently stands above the rest: Niels Bruynseels, record holder with three Grand Prix victories, achieved in 2016, 2017 and 2019. In 2025, Nina Mallevaey added her name to the prestigious list of winners and returns this year to defend her title.
