ANNA ALVES
Born and raised in Saint Charles, MO, Anna chose Stephens College originally for Fashion Design and Product Development with the dream of opening a store with her own clothing label some day. At the end of her freshman year, she switched her major to Fashion Marketing and Management and her dreams have been constantly evolving ever since. Through her internship experience, Anna found a love for and growing interest in retail at the corporate level. While attending Stephens, Anna has been a part of Modeling Group, Judicial Board, Susie’s Organized for Service, and an Orientation Leader. In addition to her on-campus activities, she also worked in the call center reaching out to alumnae for the Advancement Office. Somewhere in between all of that Anna decided to take a gap year to work and reassess her future. While her journey here at Stephens has been non-traditional, she cherishes all of the opportunities she has been given. Her plan for the future consists of continuing to work her way up in retail and eventually into a brand’s corporate office as a merchandiser or a senior allocator analyst.

As far as my career, I hope to find a job within a fashion/ apparel company so I can best utilize my degree. I love the small-business realm, as it gives more of an opportunity to share your thoughts and ideas, as well as be heard.
