CAI’s Community Involvement Month of Good

Our Chapter’s L.E.A.D. for Tomorrow Committee hosted a Month of Good campaign to inspire members in our region to do good deeds during the month of October. Members’ across Maryland and Delaware were highlighted by our Chapter on social media throughout October. The goal of our Month of Good was to spread kindness while raising money for the Special Olympics of Maryland and Delaware.

(Above) Chapter Member, Dani Bressler, of Toepfer Construction Company, Inc. participated in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s event in DC!

(At left and below) SVN—Miller Commercial Real Estate participated in various events for the month of good including donating to a local shelter and raising money for the Worcester County Humane Society!

(At left and at right) Chapter Member, Ruth Harlan, knitted 75 scarves that were donated to the Westminster Salvation Army for distribution to those in need of a warm hug from a stranger!

(At left) USI Insurance has created a unique and thoughtful corporate social responsibility program: “USI Gives Back”. Every year in August more than 8,000 employees volunteer their time and talent to the local communities they serve across approximately 200 offices assisting thousands of organizations and impacting nearly two million lives.

(At right) Thank you to Lake Linganore Association at Eaglehead who had 51 volunteers and 1,000 attendees walk a haunted trail this year and collected 520 canned goods for the local food bank.

(At left) Thank you to our very own Christina Killian who donated supplies for kittens to the Maryland SPCA. Thank you for spreading good, Chris and taking care of our furry friends!

(Above and at left) FirstService Residential, partnered with the staff and residents of one of its managed high-rise communities—Silo Point—as well as local businesses, to hold its Service Day benefiting the Francis Scott Key Elementary/Middle School in Baltimore!
