Stephen Jemal, a first-generation American born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, is the youngest of ten children. From an early age, he worked alongside his father and mentor in the family discount store located in Spanish Harlem. By age sixteen, he had launched four successful electronics and music specialty stores. This early experience, shaped by his close work with his father, laid the foundation for his signature creation: the well-known electronics chain Nobody Beats the Wiz. He also attended Pace University to support his business ambitions further. Throughout his career, Stephen has demonstrated a clear vision and leadership, particularly as the founder and developer behind the PASHA brand. This innovative multi-building project allows six-figure earners to rent luxurious apartments in amenity-rich Manhattan locations at affordable rates. PASHA also serves business professionals who frequently visit New York City and international visitors seeking comfortable and reasonably priced accommodations. In addition to residential options, PASHA offers rentable office spaces and workstations under the brand “WorkWell,” exclusively available to residents. Stephen serves as President and CEO of JemRock Organization LLC, collaborating closely with his sons to grow PASHA into a global brand by assembling a skilled team of New York City specialists. Stephen S Jemal's entry into the business world began with the launch of Nobody Beats the Wiz in 1976 on Fulton Street in Brooklyn. Under his leadership, the electronics chain expanded to 110 stores across six states, employing 6,000 people and generating sales exceeding $2.5 billion. He created an in-house construction and prefabricated fixture manufacturing company that outfitted all stores and shopping centers to control costs and quality. His construction company employed 600 tradespeople and completed over 20 million square feet of retail space.
