College is a great time when you make so many new friends. One I made in college was Quinna Racey, my teammate at Kansas State, who shared my passion for the Shorthorn breed. Quinna is now the judging coach at New Mexico State University, and when she sent me pictures of this April female, I knew we had to have her for Volume 4 of the Legends sale. What she lacks in age and size, she makes up for in quality. A skinny-necked, high-tying female that’s added level of arrogance as she stirs the pen clues you in that this one has the right pieces. Underneath, the big footed, stout boned female still is so flexible in motion. There’s plenty of power in the blood as well. Her granddam, Midnight Reba 502, was Res. Champion ShPlus Female at the 2016 KILE for the Warfield crew from Maryland. That female has continued to show her value in production, generating a multitude of champions, with one of the most recognizable being another Ultimate Reward that was the Champion Open Shorthorn female at the 2025 KILE. Generations of success are baked into this one’s pedigree. Study her quality pieces, take her home, and find success long-term! Offered with Quinna Racey, Las Cruces, NM/Cross Junction, VA.

Opportunities like this are few and far between, as it is incredibly rare for us to part with a member of our highly coveted Sophie family line. A true farm favorite, 6’S SOPHIE 54P-10L perfectly illustrates why this maternal lineage is so fiercely protected. Her prominent sire, 6’S FLASHPOINT PARADIGM 10L-FL, completely left his unmistakable stamp on this April prospect, packing her with immense muscle density, striking style, and high-octane growth performance. Her genomic panel confirms the visual power, posting an elite Ribeye Area (REA) EPD of 0.70 that ranks in the top 3% of the entire breed, alongside a top 15% rank for weaning weight. A premier, front-pasture donor candidate that we let go of with mixed emotions—invest with absolute confidence.

Sometimes we take a chance and mate Thor to our big, high-capacity red cows just to see what happens, and the results never fail to amaze us. 6’S ROAN JESSIE 37P-M50 is a perfect example of that experimental magic hitting the ground running. This Aprilborn roan prospect packs an immense amount of outcross style, striking extension, and elite show ring flash into her skeleton. While this specific cross can occasionally introduce a larger frame size than usual, this heifer utilizes every bit of her growth and length to give you an incredibly commanding look from the profile. An eye-catching maternal package built to compete today and make a highly productive, powerremodeling front-pasture cow tomorrow.

Locust Dale Robin 26 is an eye-catching, dark roan heifer prospect that checks all the boxes for both the show ring and the front pasture. How often do you get to tie into one that has already proved how competitive she can be at a State Fair level? Portia was the Reserve Champion Division 2 Female in the open Shorthorn show at the 2026 Ohio State Fair, and continues to get better by the day. Of the pair of Limit Up females we’re offering, she’s the bigger-hipped, wider-constructed option, while still maintaining the structural quality and look up front that it takes to be a competitive show heifer. Her added chrome is sure to bring you in for a second glance, and when the bold-bodied female parks and still gives you a great show heifer silhouette, there’s no question that she will be valuable in both the ring and as a front pasture kind of female. Her dam has been a consistent producer for us, generating a class-winning steer at Junior Nationals 2024, amongst a wide variety of other competitive sons and daughters. This is one of her best progeny to date, and it’s a daily discussion at the farm as to whether selling her is the right move. Our commitment to offering our best lands her in this sale, and we are excited to see her career continue in both the ring and the pasture! DSC - PHAF - THF.

It is an absolute privilege to offer a female that scores this high across both the phenotypic and genomic spectrums. 6’S MARIONS DELIGHT 01N-SB is an elite roan bred heifer that stands out for her deep-sided, smooth-shouldered design and great structural correctness. Genomically enhanced, she ranks in the upper echelon of the breed with a spectacular Calving Ease Direct (CED) EPD of 18 and a massive $CPI index over 180. To elevate her value even further, she was pasture exposed to the sensational Byland Iconic 4EL16, whose offspring are heavily turning heads for their impeccable bone structure and consistency. This is a front-line donor candidate carrying a blue-chip coupon!
