Billie Jean…Bonnie Jean…however that song goes, this one gets me singing. A stout, cowy head, paired with great body shape and awesome power and pin width. Whether making bulls, steers, or heifers is your prerogative, I see this one having value in all facets of the industry. Her sire, Miller’s Thor, makes her pedigree all the more intriguing. Thor, a SULL Propel x CYT Missing Mirage 2120 ET, is a full sib to SS Missing Mirage 117, a prolific female that recently sold in the Cates sale for $62,000.

If longevity is what you’re after, this is the heifer for you. This beautifully built roan is a granddaughter of the renowned Baylor Cowden’s Sher Roan Treasure 144Y ET, who was a true powerhouse at 13 years old during their dispersal sale. Sired by Millbrook Tribute, this fancy heifer has the potential to shine in the ring. Pictured is her sire and the heifer when newborn.

A good red polled cow prospect here. A broody kind of female who reads with longevity. Studer’s High Capital has the style and body makeup to be a herd improver. Our High Capital have exceeded our hopes. And being an Augusta Pride just adds more value and insures a female that will be a cow to be proud of. Great cow potential!

The Dam of this heifer is my favorite cow, affectionately nicknamed Paris, originating back to the Sugarbird program (Paris, Ky). Paris brought home several Purple ribbons from the 2024 State Fair of West Virginia. She was crowned Overall Reserve Champion Shorthorn Female in the Jr. Show and was Division Champion in the Open Show. She is the most complete female that we own when considering her confirmation, feet, udder, docility, and maternal instinct. Baby Ruth (born on mom’s (Ruth) birthday was being developed with our show string when she suffered a leg injury. She had a setback but she’s well on her way. Baby Ruth is a very framie heifer and when she fills out will make a nice cow in your herd. She has the sweetest disposition and will be a great fit for a young showman. She needs pushed but I think she is going to be a good one.

This Flash daughter has lots of eye appeal and definitely stands out in the field. Oh Baby, the dam of this heifer was Christy’s first Sugarbird purchase. Oh Baby was Division Champion at the 2021 Kentucky State Fair. Oh Baby is by far the most maternal cow in our herd. She takes care of all the babies. As a first calf heifer, she raised her calf and an orphan calf for us, she just gets it done. We have retained two heifers from this cow. Baby Doll aka Dolly is going to be no nonsense, get it done cow with a great pedigree. She’s halter broke and has a great disposition, with a little work, she could be added to your summer show string.

Performance power! This red and white heifer has the quality of my Locust Dale JJ bull - thickness and body. A female who pairs a good size with genuine substance and still is cowy in her body type is always well received, and she meets that standard to a T. Hot Jewel found a lot of success when she was a member of our 2021-2022 show string, including multiple top five finishes at shows, as well as Reserve Division 1 at the 2021 NJSS in Louisville. Any other year, I can promise you she would not leave. But it’s our commitment to this sale that we continue to offer pieces that are hard to let go of, pieces that we feel can help progress the shorthorn industry as a whole, and I feel this plus female can. Her quality look and running gear have lots of value generating high value show cattle, but her cow power and doability are what never cease to amaze me. Genuine dimension, paired with an easy fleshing body type. For those that worry about feeding bred females, like my mother, let me put it into perspective for you. I picked this female up from summer pasture on a Saturday, and we pictured on Tuesday. No smoke, no mirrors, just a quality cow, flat out. We haven’t even began to open the barrel on what I think this one can do, which is why we paired her to one of the breed’s hottest bulls in Byland Flash 9U106Due January 4, 2026. Quality lays ahead!

This bred female has been a favorite of several visitors, and its easy to see why. Her length, extension, and femininity make her an incredibly exciting cow prospect. Sensibly sized, low input broodcows just like her will never go out of style at our place, making her a challenge to part with. Another great cow prospect carrying one of the first JSF Telluride babies, get in early on an incredible female!

The Lumberjack females are starting to hit the cow pen, and they solidify our decision to add this exciting sire to our bull battery. This solid red bred reads ultra easy fleshing in her bodytype, with the kind of structure it takes to still cover broad distance or rough terrain. Cow power in the blood, with her dam being a very impressive female from the Sharben operation, you know that is success in her blood lines. The best part: she will have one of the earliest calves out of our $20,000 dollar selection at The Bull Sale, Byland Iconic. Invest in an early opportunity. Confirmed 45 days bred to Byland Iconic, due 5/4/2026.

We bought this bred heifer as a calf at side with her dam from David Ragsdale and have been incredibly pleased with the soundness and production of her dam. We have no doubt that she will follow along in her footsteps. She is fancy in all the right places, with femininity to spare, but doesn’t give up any mass throughout. Another great Lumberjack up for grabs, and he stamps them so consistently. Easy doing cows that come with real world structure, but still are fun to look at in the pasture due to their fancy design and good pattern, and this one falls right in there. So good looking up front, with a bold rib and awesome running gear, she reads like a great mama cow seven days of the week. Bred 2 months to Byland Iconic 4EL16.

We are truly impressed with the “Legends of the Fall” sale program that the Six Family is building and hope to contribute to their growth. With our first consignment to the “Legends of the Fall” sale, we are going all in. We purchased this Byland Flash daughter at the Southern Stars Sale this past spring, consigned by Sugarbird Shorthorns. We have several Sugarbird’s in our herd, and they are gradually becoming some of our foundation females. Flashy caught my eye when I stepped out of the truck and she hasn’t disappointed. Addison showed Flashy as her 4-H project this summer at the State Fair of West Virginia in the Junior AOB division as WV did not have a Jr. Shorthorn show this year. Christy brought home the Purple from the WV State Fair with this heifer as Flashy won Champion in the Spring Yearling Division. As an added bonus, Flashy was AI bred to Gilman’s Sure Bet 3K for a February 20, 2026 calf. Cowboy’s study these perfect EPD’s and dust off the wallet. 58

Good bodied, good built, good framed cattle that are still good looking are well received from coast to coast, and she emulates that kind. This Rx female traces back to the legendary Woodside herd, and represents the quality that came out of there for generations. A 3/4 plus heifer my sister showed this summer and had fun with. She is by a JSF Bond son out of a good young Gauge cow. I love this moderate easy doing female, she’s soft middled and I appreciate her added length and extension without giving up power. A future brood cow who can be bred a lot of ways. She sells safe in calf to the calving ease specialist, Byland Range Officer, due 5-9-26.

CF Margie 751 is an incredibly prolific female in our donor battery. The quality and caliber of cattle that she generates continue to raise the bar for us year after year, so we are always excited to offer matings on her that have value, and boy do we see it here. Byland Unique was the 22,000 dollar high selling pick at The Bull Sale this spring to the

Greenhorn and Aegerter crews, and I believe that bull is poised to make a big impact, which is why we mated Margie this way. Blending Margie’s incredible look and build quality that she translates into the next generation with Unique’s real world, genuine substance, I am confident this mating will generate cattle that are competitive long after their show ring days have concluded. Sitting at our county fair this summer, Zach Six proposed an idea to me. He’s always been as big of a fan and believer in this female as we’ve been, so when he said “Would you put a flush on the Dream Maker in the sale?” It seemed like a no-brainer to us. Mia’s Dream is the result of a pregnancy purchase out of the 2023 Where Future Generations are Created Sale at Louisville from the crew at Meyer Family Shorthorns, an operation that has been on a big

tear the last few years. 2025 is the 10 year anniversary of the first Shorthorn arriving for the boys at Nebo Ridge Farms, and the tradition of quality that this one can continue to capitalize on makes us as excited as any. Dream Maker females are incredibly valuable on the bottom side of pedigrees. But one of the most exciting parts to me: at 87.5% shorthorn, she can make PUREBREDS. That’s right, the winning bidder can choose to mate her purebred to make purebred calves, or to plus bulls and still have progeny who can show at a national level. For my not-so-shorthorn oriented pals, how about this for ya: Her dam is a maternal sib to the immortal Reimann Kelli cow, a household name for generations. However you want to take this one, I am certain she has value. Her soft structure, awesome body, and killer look is hard to replicate, and allowed her to find her fair share of show ring success. I am so excited to see this opportunity come to fruition! Flush will be performed this spring post calving at Boviteq’s Parson/Scherich Satellite center in Graysville, PA by the White Oak Vet Staff. The buyer is responsible for all flush related expenses. Guarantee of 6 frozen IVF embryo’s, with a 1:1 split after 6.
