We are excited to welcome Hereford breeders, longtime customers, friends and those joining us for the first time to the 2026 Chosen Female Sale at Sanders Ranch in Louisburg, Kansas. We have been incredibly blessed by the many people who believe in our cowherd and program, and we always look forward to visiting with you. Join us for a social as you view the offering before the sale begins in the early evening, followed by a beef dinner and more fellowship. Our family has worked hard to put together an offering that represents the very best of our program and genetics. Jensen Ranch has nearly doubled in size over the past year with the help of our son Brady and his wife, Allie. Brady has stepped into the management and breeding decisions, while Allie has taken an active role in promotion and bookkeeping. We are grateful for their commitment and excited to see the next generation become increasingly involved in the operation. Around here, cattle are part of the conversation every day. We plan matings years in advance with the goal of producing cattle that combine phenotype and genotype and genetics that can make a lasting impact in your herd. 2026 has been an exciting year for Jensen Ranch. We started the year with Arrowhead being selected Reserve National Champion Bull in Oklahoma City, followed by exhibiting the Champion Pen of Bulls at the National Western Stock Show. We are especially proud that the maternal side of those champion genetics are represented in this year’s Chosen Sale offering. Once again, we are also offering the Pick of our 2026 Fall-Born Heifers, which has become an anticipated selection of the sale.

This has also been a special year for our family. Last fall, Jensen Ranch was recognized at the American Hereford Association Annual Meeting for 50 years of breeding Hereford cattle. In June, we traveled to Boise for the Beef Improvement Federation meetings, where Jensen Ranch was honored as a Seedstock Producer of the Year finalist. In August, we welcomed the Kansas Hereford Tour to the ranch to celebrate our 50th year and enjoyed sharing our cowherd with so many breeders, customers and friends. The Hereford junior program continues to be an important part of our operation. We enjoyed the Junior National Hereford Expo in Madison and are once again proud to host the National Junior Hereford Board at the Chosen Sale in support of the Hereford Youth Foundation of America. We strongly believe in investing in the next generation of Hereford breeders. We sincerely thank Sanders Ranch, Steve Sanders, Darrin and Connie Barbour, and the entire crew for providing an outstanding sale site and helping us showcase these females. Our goal is to offer genetics to Hereford breeders that can allow them to achieve their goals, and we think Cher K68 is the kind to elevate a program. In her first two calf crops, K68 has generated $400,000 worth of progeny and genetic sales.
