General Sale Information

Sale Day Phone: 724-627-7240 FAX: 724-627-7240 Location: Woodside Farm is five miles south of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania on U.S. Route 19. Watch for signs. Traveling on I-79, use the Kirby-Garards Fort exit. Then west to Kirby. Turn right and north to farm sign, approximately four miles.

Lodging: In WaynesburgComfort Inn, 724-627-3700 Econolodge, 724-627-5544 Super 8, 724-627-8880 If coming from the north or west, there are several motels in Washington, Pennsylvania, about 25 miles from the farm.

Lunch is available at the sale site.

Hospitality: Plan to be with us on Friday evening, October 17th, for a buffet dinner and enjoy good Shorthorn fellowship at the farm.

Terms And Conditions: Terms of the sale are cash. Settlement is to be made with the clerk immediately following the sale and before the cattle are removed from the premises.

Breeding Guarantee: The Standard Breeding Guarantee as endorsed by the American Shorthorn Association will be followed.

Health: Each animal will have a state approved health certificate from the state of origin. Buyers should make themselves aware of the health requirements for their respective states.

ASA Genetic Defect Disclaimer: Unless an animal is listed on the American Shorthorn Association “genetic defect status list”, the American Shorthorn Association makes no representation of any kind as to whether or not the animal has a genetic defect.

Liability: Each animal will be at the buyer’s risk as soon as sold, but will be cared for by the sellers for a reasonable amount of time.
