When we decided to create a female sale, we did so with the intentions of bringing you the absolute best. That said; we truly feel that is what we accomplished.

We debated many sale avenues & auction options, and are excited to work with the team at CW sales on this event. We have worked hard to bring some of the best maternal & club calf genetics to one location, from the top donors in our program and of others around the country.

Greatness is described as “distinguished” or “eminent”. When it comes to High % Maine Anjou, tag 1 is what Webster is searching for; nothing short of GREATNESS. When we bought our beloved Laila Donor from Hartman years ago, we knew this I-80 female was what she was capable of. Laila started her career with a national title, as the 2010 NWSS MainTainer Supreme Female; and we haven’t stopped smiling since. dam.

This female is by far & away the best offspring to date from our lead donor, and we are not sure where to start. First-TH & PHA clean, with the shag of a double carrier. Second- incredible in her design, both in her lines & skeleton. You can’t make Lot 1 is Land of Lincoln Eligible one sounder; I will make the claim that this is the soundest High % Maine to sell this fall, if there is any that can move better I haven’t seen them. And her look…it’ll take your breath away. Third- extremely soft & maternal made. Super smooth & flat muscled with incredible swoop in her belly & turn to her rib. This could be one of the softest creatures you’ll find this fall & yes-3/4 Maine.

Our beloved Sis donor has been known for her steer progeny; in fact, she has only had one other show heifer hit the ring in her limited production career. It is important to mention that female grabbed a piece of her division at our 2014 IL State Fair & went on to raise tag 11 in our Sept. steer sale, snagging a 5-figure price tag to start her production. This cow DOES NOT MISS, and apparently neither do her daughters. dam.

We haven’t had many Fringe cattle on the farm, but I will tell you this mating is special. Our only other sib mated this way was a runner-up to our high seller on our last sale; and there is no doubt we’ve saved the best for last! After her Louisville escapade less than a few weeks ago, I am not sure this female needs much introduction so I will keep it brief. This one’s mother is in the process of writing her own page in Simmental history, and so will this dob. March • breed. PB Simmental special girl! Her mother, Miss Hoya Saxa 111Y, claimed Reserve Supreme honors at the 2012 NWSS & 2012 Junior National, and has continued to rock the world with her progeny selling both as tag 3 & 5 respectively in our 1st Annual Finest Female sire.

This Steel Force is already off to the races, claiming Calf Champion/Reserve Honors at the 2015 IL State Fair & 2015 NAILE. She has been described as “outstanding in her breed” and “one to watch”. Let me tell you, just keep an eye on the backdrop & dam. you’ll find her. She has it all! I could go on and on about how fluid she is in her movement, how correct she is with her build, the (Make It Rain) middle & mass possessed in such a feminine package, the killer look she carries; but I think I will just cut it short. As we continued on our quest to put together a group of unforgettable females, Lucas came upon this incredible gal when on a trip to see some ET progeny we had in western IL with our good friend Shannon Welsh. When she arrived in Danforth, I knew we had something truly unique! We all know First n Goal is dominant in the Angus industry today, and sire. when you combine that with the a proven champion on the bottom side of the equation, winning will ensue!!

The donor mother to tag 4 claimed 4th Overall honors at our 2012 IL State Fair, and this fine lady is proof that the apple does not fall far from the tree. This may be one of the best true females we have had on the farm. She is long-lean dam. muscled, ridiculously sound, whale bellied, and wicked necked. Combine that with a lush hair coat, great tail head set, and Lot 4 is Land of Lincoln Eligible supreme overall presence. We’re onto something here.

She can run with the true best in the Angus breed no matter the prefix. Let her continue on in her Angus lineage or breed her for Sim-Angus genetics folks would die for when she hits the donor pen. Needless to say, she’ll have a great show career & possibly better donor run when the banners are all hung.

You already read about the dominance this blood line with tag 3 in the catalog. Miss Hoya Saxa 111Y is truly unique, and she passes that down to the next generation without question. This will be the first Broker to sell from what we feel to be one of the most dominant dams in Simmental production currently. Not to mention, their grandmother is the great sire.

Miss Kansa that sold 2/3 interest for 60k in Dwyers sale just years ago, only to tragically pass shortly after. The other Broker sib will be selling in the early spring; a bull that we feel will be a true breed changer, never before has a neck like that existed on a PB Simmental bull, along with being one of the squarest hipped we’ve ever laid eyes on. Back to the female… It is without saying, that this Broker female possesses a good size advantage on her sister selling.

Some is age, but the growth pattern cannot be ignored. Added extension is not only seen in size over tag 3, but threw her front end Lot 5 is Land of Lincoln Eligible as well. Both carry the desirable baldy face, incredible structure for PB Simmental females, and rib structure that typically calls for “ground sow” terminology.

Both females selling are nothing short of outstanding! I was asked for my pick of the pair shortly before writing these footnotes & depending on the day, it is nearly impossible to call. The Steel Force is proven in the ring, but this Broker could be the better of the two in the end-heck, maybe a week, maybe a month. Study these females! They don’t disappoint.

Huston’s Panda cow has cemented herself in club calf history; just a few short years ago, Panda, a Friction sire. daughter, demanded $74,000 for ½ interest. That may be a drop in the bucket though, as she has done well over 1 million in sales. What is arguably her lead daughter is the dam of tag 8.

This Monopoly female is yet another reason why Monopoly has become the king of the club calf industry, with dam. steers & heifers alike. That being said, she is a little different than most… She seems to be a little bigger statured, better chested, and more extended. She handles her feet & legs as good as any, and is super feminine in her look.

It’s hard to name a favorite in this group, but this one has to be up the list! She seems to be the favorite of many.

If you like sound Monopoly cattle, with a shot more grow & extension, coupled with a belly dragging build; well…tag 8 is your cow. She’s our type, she’s the winning type!

As soon as we laid eyes on her early this summer, we had to have her.

She stems from one of our newest donor purchases, an Irish Whiskey that was a sale topper for Griswold a few years back. She landed with Frankenrider, then to us. She is truly something special & this is the first calf we’ve had on her….we’re sold!

This one may be the best cow out of the entire bunch. She shows a little throat in her picture, but when you get her tied up & on the halter, it’s greatly improved. With all the chatter of donor quality, this one is the true definition.

Wicked colored & just a fun heifer to be around. I questioned the our addition of a MAB female to our line up at first, but this one is truly unique in her front 1/3 for a Man Among Boys. She is so feminine in her build, it makes you wonder if that was the straw used….but Ron swears on it. This one has a load of potential in the sire.

I felt the same way about tag 12, as I did the red & white MAB….should I put a Heat Wave in the female sale? Then I thought back a few years back to the dominant champion the Chamberlin family of IN campaigned. This one is built just the same!

Not only is this one built different for a Heat Wave, she is backed by one of the best cows in the industry! We bought ½ interest in our Lambo donor the same year Armada dominated the yards of Denver. From that time on, she has had numerous champions; possibly the most notable being shown by the Gilbert family of OH. This heifer sold for over 50k, never missed a top 5, was Supreme Female at the OH Beef Expo, and finished her career as Res. Supreme Maintainer in Kansas City last fall.

Another sib topped our 2015 Sept. steer sale & was just resold by Brandon Jones for $45,500.

Lucas mentioned he had a dang nice Broker purebred, and he wasn’t lying! She came in a little later, and is a bit greener than a few. But what she lacks in pounds, she doesn’t lack in quality.

Miss Star has been a stand out donor for the Johnson family & Tree Lane Farms. Several of their 2015 sale features stem back to this past champion that was purchased in Denver a few short years ago. Now in her prime, Miss Star is hitting her stride and this Broker is arguably the best daughter she has had. Other progeny includes a $26,000 high seller for Hartman in his 2015 bull sale this past spring and several Tree Lane females.

Take a minute to study this one. As mentioned, she’s younger but still a great prospect. It’s hard to find one that cool as a purebred Simmental. This one will make you look smart in the end!

Another high percent chi, that is extremely high in quality! The Tomson family of IN campaigned the dam of this fancy female a few years back with MASSIVE success. We thank Jimmy for his past business, and the chance to sell this exceptional female.

Youthful in her look, yet ready to go. We feel that sometimes these Monopoly females can get a little small for some….that won’t be the case here!

She has the gas to get the end; in fact, her best days are ahead of her. Sure…she’ll be ready in a month if needed, but come Jr Nationals or next fall-this one will be the talk of the barn.
