Sale Manager reserves the right to require a certified check as settlement before releasing any cattle. Buyer hereby grants to Seller/Sale Manager a security interest in the livestock purchased to secure the payment of the purchase price, and Buyer further authorizes Seller/Sale Manager to file any necessary documents with any Secretary of State or other governmental entity necessary to perfect such security interest.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Any errors or changes in information contained in the catalog will be announced from the block and such announcements shall take precedence over the information contained herein.

BIDDING:

Any disputes or challenges regarding bids or tie bids will be settled by the Auctioneer and the decision will be final.

PURCHASER’S RISK: All animals are the owner’s risk prior to their sale and become property of the purchaser as soon as declared sold by the Auctioneer.

CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY: A certificate of registry for each animal will be transferred to the buyer at the seller’s expense.

HEALTH: All animals are eligible for interstate shipment. Interstate health papers prepared by an accredited veterinarian will be furnished on each animal sold.

Arrangements for International Shipment should be made with the Sale Manager prior to the auction. All efforts for the exportation of cattle can be arranged the through the Sale Manager.

GUARANTEE & INSURANCE: All bulls are guaranteed to be breeders. All bulls will be semen tested before sale. All bulls will have a 1 year breeding guarantee. All injured bulls must be declared by 1 September 2016. The buyer also has the option of purchasing insurance (available sale day) from Martin-Trudeau Insurance. The policy is for 1 year and we will pay 50% of the premium.

LIABILITIES: All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk. The seller, auction facility and sale manager assume no liability for any accidents that may occur.

Neither does the seller, auction facility or sale manager assume liability for the loss or injury to livestock due to theft, mysterious disappearance, sickness, improper handling or Act of God. It is to be clearly understood that the sale manager and its representatives act only as a medium between the buyer and the seller. They are not responsible in any way for the failure on the part of the buyer and seller to live up to their obligations or for the truth of any warranties or representation, express or implied. Neither does the sale manager assume any financial obligations to collect or enforce collection of monies between parties. Any legal action, that may in exceptional cases be taken, must be between the buyer and the seller. VIDEO:

A video of each lot will be on www.carawayredangus.com. The sale will be a video sale. The animals will not be run through a sale ring. There will be a screen that will display a video of each animal while it is being sold.

DELIVERY:

Pick up your bulls on sale and receive $100 off each animal purchased, plus $50 off an animal on next year’s sale. Or leave your trailer at home on sale day and pick up your animal within 6 days and receive $50 off on an animal next year. If you prefer, you may leave your animals with us until 1 May for FREE OF CHARGE. Then after that it will be $2.00 per day to feed and pick up when you want them. Delivery will be arrange with buyer and seller

Welcome to the 3rd Annual Caraway Red Angus Ranch Bull Sale. We are excited for this offering of bulls that are sure to add sound structure and eye appeal to your herd. Our passion is breeding bulls that offer genetic appeal to both the commercial operation as well as the purebred breeder.

Our family background is very strong in the cattle business and we feel that the hard work and dedication it has taken to become successful shows in the quality of cattle we offer to our customers each year. While each of us were raised in very different backgrounds of the beef industry-Jon from a purebred operation and Blair from a commercial and feedlot family, we both have learned how we can impact the future by breeding bulls and females that are low maintenance and of sound structure.

All the cattle we raise have been handled by us. The bulls are hand fed and are not stressed when worked. Our females are broke to lead and have been worked with for several months before the sale. Many of our cows in our herd can be touched when we are among them in the pen or pasture and most have very laid back dispositions. We are very comfortable having our daughter, Gabrielle, out among our cattle and she helps out whenever possible.

We look forward to seeing you at the Caraway Red Angus Ranch bull sale. Having our sale on a Monday again this year can be difficult for those who may work and you may want to view the cattle ahead of time.
