TERMS: Terms of the sale are cash, check or other terms agreed to in writing between seller and buyer, payable immediately upon conclusion of the sale before animals will be moved. Seller reserves the right to require a certified check as settlement before releasing any cattle. Buyer hereby grants to seller a security interest in the livestock purchased to secure the payment of the purchase price, and buyer further authorizes seller to file any necessary documents with any Secretary of State or other governmental entity necessary to perfect such security interest.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Any errors or changes in information contained in the catalog will be announced from the block and such announcements shall take precedence over the information contained herein.

BIDDING: Any disputes or challenges regarding bids or tie bids will be settled by the Auctioneer and the decision will be final.

PURCHASER’S RISK: All animals are the owner’s risk prior to their sale and become property of the purchaser as soon as declared sold by the Auctioneer.

CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY: A certificate of registry for each animal will be transferred to the buyer at the seller’s expense.

HEALTH: All animals are eligible for interstate shipment. Interstate health papers prepared by an accredited veterinarian will be furnished on each animal sold.

Arrangements for international shipment should be made with the seller prior to the auction. All efforts for the exportation of cattle can be arranged through the seller.

CARAWAY RED ANGUS RANCH

BREEDERS GUARENTEE: All bulls are guaranteed to be breeders. All claims for adjustment of refund must be made in writing within six months of the sale date. In the event a bull is claimed to be a non-breeder, the purchaser may return the animal to the ranch of the Seller if in good condition and complying with the health requirements of the Seller’s state. The Seller will be entitled to six months trial following the return of the animal in which to prove that the animal is a breeder. If at the end of the six months the Seller is unable to prove the animal is a breeder, the Seller shall be obligated to replace the animal with another of equal value or to refund the purchase price. The return of the full purchase price shall in any case be deemed full satisfaction and settlement. If the Seller proves the animal to be a breeder, it shall be the obligation of the purchaser to take delivery of the animal at the purchaser’s expense.

LIABILITIES: All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk. The seller assumes no liability for any accidents that may occur. Neither does the seller assume liability for the loss or injury to livestock due to theft, mysterious disappearance, sickness, improper handling or Act of God. Any legal action, that may in exceptional cases be taken, must be between the buyer and the seller. This catalog has been prepared by the seller from pedigrees and information supplied by sources deemed reliable. Any exceptions taken are between the buyer and the seller.

CONTRACT: The above terms and conditions of sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and seller of each animal and shall be equally binding upon both. Each sale or resale of an animal constitutes a separate transaction.

LIVESTOCK INSURANCE: Please tell the sales clerk when you check out if you would like to insure your purchases, and they will record the necessary information. All purchases are the buyer’s responsibility as soon as they are sold.

VIDEO: A video of each lot will be on www.carawayredangus.com. The sale will be a video sale. The animals will not be run through a sale ring. There will be a screen that will display a video of each animal while it is being sold.

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Caraway Red Angus Ranch

Bull Sale. We are excited to offer a set of bulls that will add performance to your herd. Our passion is breeding bulls that offer genetics that appeal both to the commercial operation as well as the purebred breeder.

We come from families that focus on cattle as a priority

over all other agriculture and we cannot stress enough how much work and dedication it has taken to become successful in the cattle business. While each of us were raised in very different backgrounds within the beef industry-Blair from a commercial and feedlot family and Jon from a purebred operation, we both have learned how we can impact the future by breeding bulls and females that are sound and easy fleshing.

The cattle we raise have been all handled by us. The bulls

are hand fed and are not stressed when worked. Our females are all broke to lead and have been worked with for several months before the sale. When we walk out among our cows, we can go up and touch many of them as they have matured into easy going breeding stock that we are comfortable having our young daughter around.
