December 3rd will be a bittersweet day for us, these are great cows, and many are young with a big chunk of their lives ahead of them!

But as the saying goes, one door closes and another opens.

Incase you haven’t heard, Bushy Park Farms, owner, Steve Robinson purchased an amazing ranch property in Winnsboro, Texas. This property is a blessing for multiple reasons, however we must downsize and adjust our production schedule. BPF will still host an annual production sale along with multiple online sales just as in the past. I mention these so you know were not going anywhere and our commitment is as strong as ever! We will stand behind EVERY animal selling on the 3rd this is a reduction sale not a dispersal.

We are taking advantage of a great opportunity, for the BPF program and the people and families involved. We wish you to do the same. We are offering some great donors with lots value that can truly put a program on the map, young cows that were on track to be in our donor pen in the next few years. Along with some of the best young bred heifers we have EVER offered!

We know the timing could not be worse for this sale with a lower than expected crop price and the currently depressed cattle market [which has showed major improvement the last 2 weeks]. This is bad for us, we don’t have the luxury of time. Our Loss is your GAIN; you will buy cows 50 cents on the dollar to what you would anytime in the last 3 years! Please take advantage of this opportunity, Think about your current cows, are all of them producing for you? Most have that percentage [Usually 15% to 20%] of your cows who are old or have NEVER produced and likely never will, but they are good cows that don’t present problems and you keep them around, they never cost you money but never advance your program…

Sell them! This is the year to cut them from the herd and advance your program!
