Our program has been in the Charolais business since the 1960’s and has always put an emphasis on carcass merit and disciplined calving ease. Our Charolais herd was the first purebred herd to win the carcass competition at the National Western Stock Show in Denver, CO. The foundation of our herd that contributed to those accolades is still present in our herd today. Whether you need to add carcass value, performance or both into your calves, we are confident our bulls can provide what you need. “Calving ease with no sacrifice in performance” is our motto and will always be our focus as these bulls are bred with the commercial cattleman in mind.

SALE DISCOUNTS:

As always, we offer a $75 DISCOUNT for those who take their bulls home the day of sale.

SALE REGISTRATIONS:

Any bull in the sale can be registered with the AICA upon request after purchase.

CATTLE VIEWING:

Cattle can be viewed anytime at the Stipe Charolais ranch in Moiese, MT up until Wednesday, April 2nd prior to sale day. Bulls will be shipped to Ramsay on Thursday, April 3rd and will be available for viewing the evening of the 3rd and sale day morning.

SALE ORDER:

The bulls will sell in catalog order, We will begin with the Angus bulls first followed by the Charolais.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Cattle will sell under the terms and conditions of the AICA. Any announcements from the block take precedence over the sale book material.

Not since the likes of Montana Marbler and Double Joe has a herd bull had more of an impact on our program. Double overtime has put his stamp on our program from his first year in production. Breeding with impeccable consistency and predictability. He has produced 5 herd sires for our program alone and now has over 30 females currently in production in our herd. His unique muscle and shape provide easy calving and performance to go with it. His females come with plenty of power and fantastic udder structure and quality. 15 sons sell in this year’s offering.

A sure-shot heifer bull! Hollywood has been our go-to heifer bull from the get go. We are currently calving his 3rd set of calves out of first calf heifers and the calving ease is a recipe for a full night of sleep. Much like his sire (Double Overtime F1016), Hollywood stamps his offspring with his moderate frame, deep body, thick muscle and excellent disposition. 13 sons of Hollywood will sell.

Another son of Double Overtime, Sheriff is looking to carry on his sire’s legacy in the years to come. A bull that truly stands out. With only a small sample size of offspring, this young up and coming herd sire is showing his promise and we are excited for his future in our program.

The last son of SCC Crown Royal D46. Crown Royal played a huge role in our current cow herd. Producing females with exceptional udder quality and milk production, his females make up ⅓ of our current cow herd. Decker K156 exemplifies many of his sires qualities, adding a smooth, clean look to his calves without sacrificing muscle and depth of body. 6 sons sell and posted an impressive average Birthweight of 81 lbs, followed by an average weaning weight of 940 lbs.

“Mo” may be the longest tenured walking herd sire in our program’s history, breeding until the age of 9. Now deceased, this offering contains his last set of sons. With many females in production in our program, Mighty Mo’s presence will still be felt for years to come.
