would like to welcome everyone to the 12th edition of “Our Commitment” Bid-Off Elite Female Sale. It’s hard to believe that another year has passed by so quickly. It feels like the snow just stopped and now fall and winter approach, again. In the past few year, we have worked to expand our breed offering and have been diligently working to add Simmental and Angus genetics that can compete with the quality that you have come to expect from our Shorthorn, Maine and Chianina offering. Like always, we continue to dedicate ourselves to raising and offering some of the best prospects in the country and helping our customers reach their goals. Our mantra “right kind, right way, right people” started as a slogan, but has given our program greater purpose for why we get up every day and work hard to transform our goals and customer goals to achievements. Each year, we strive to breed and raise the “right kind’ geared for both the show ring and elite production. In this pursuit, we spend countless hours planning matings and re-planning them to ensure our program can offer some of the top prospects in the country each year from multiple breeds. We also work diligently to do everything the “right way” maintaining high integrity, putting in the extra hours of work that would be easier left to chance and at times take our licks to hopefully one day be rewarded for our efforts of what is right and raising the right kind. The last part of the statement is about working with the “right people.”We truly value the relationships that have been built over the years and look forward to the many new relationships that are yet to come. The opportunity to be a role model for the youth of the cattle industry is something that we are extremely humbled by and do not take the responsibility lightly. “Right kind, right way, right people” that is Our Commitment. We’ve had a great year both in and outside of the show ring. In the last year, we were awarded with FOUR National Champions. Three here in the US and one in Canada. Additionally, breed champions at Kansas City, Louisville and Denver, while having strong showings at several state fairs & junior nationals this summer. We now anxiously await the fall major show season and what that has in store for our program. Like always, the cattle offered are the cream of the crop. BIDS Base prices have been established on all of the calves. If more than one person in interested in the same calf, we will hold a bid-off auction on that particular calf. The auction is open to only those who place a bid on that calf by dark on the 6th of October. All bids will be a minimum of $250.00. Once a calf gets to $10,000.00 the bids will increase to a minimum of $500.00 All bidders names will be kept confidential during the bidding process unless all parties involved in bidding on a particular calf wish to have their names disclosed. A person may bid on 2nd or 3rd choice, as long as those bids are turned in by 7 PM CST on the 6th of October. (We will try to bid off your 1st choice first and if you don’t get that calf purchased, you may bid on your consecutive choices. If you don’t get your first choice purchased you are not bound to your 2nd or 3rd choice bids).
