Mailed Bids: Mailed or telephoned bids will be handled in a most confidential manner. If you are unable to attend the sale personally, simply contact a representative of the sale far enough in advance prior to sale day. They will be able to assist you at ringside on sale day.

Delivery: Every effort will be made by the sellers to assist you in the delivery of your purchases should you need assistance. This delivery will be made to central points at the most economical cost possible.

Terms And Conditions: Terms of the sale are cash or check payable to WHR Shorthorns. Settlement is to be made with the clerk immediately following the sale and before the cattle are removed from the premises. Purchasers or thier representatives must sign the bill of sale prior to leaving the sale site.

Billed Accounts: All billed accounts are due within 10 days following the date of the sale. Registration And Transfer: All animals sell with completed pedigrees or applications for registration in the hands of the sale manager.

Breeding Guarantee: All cattle sell under the Standard Breeding Guarantee recommended by the American Shorthorn Association. An exception would be through mishandling either obesity or under nourishment and illegal practices associated with showing the female.

Flush Rights: WHR Shorthorns and the Lone Star Edition consignors reserve the right to one flush of eight or more grade 1 or 2 embryos at our expense on all females selling. Flush to take place at the convenience of the buyer at a location of their choice.

Semen Rights: WHR Shorthorns retains an in-herd semen use on all bulls selling in the Lone Star Edition Sale.

The Cecilia Cow Family has led off Lone Star Edition sales more than once!

Full sisters to these heifers have garnered the following championships over the past five years: Denver Reserve National Champion, Fort Worth Reserve National Champion, Fort Worth Junior Show Champion, State Fair of Texas Champion and Tulsa Reserve Champion. All of these championships were won by different full sisters. Of course, the Dam of these heifers - WHR GN Cecilia 8118 - was Supreme Champion Heifer at Houston.
