What is Stem Cell Therapy?

Stem Cell Therapy is the use of stem cells to treat diseases, disorders, and injuries. Stem cells are undifferentiated cells that can be found in many places throughout your body including bone marrow and umbilical cord blood. They can also be harvested from a variety of other sources such as fat tissue or placenta.

Stem cell therapy has been used for years now to treat numerous conditions including spinal cord injuries (SCI). It involves injecting these specialised cells directly into damaged areas of the nervous system where they begin repairing damage caused by injury or disease.
