001 WP2 4.
For this model, it is related to the Taichung Metropolitan Opera House (Competition / Research) designed by Zaha Hadid. It using the roof pattern to create the model.
5 & 6.
This is Tama Art University Library (Hachioji campus) by Toyo Ito. Because of the interior, it create the arch pattern for the model.
PHOTOGRAPHING & PROJECTING For this stage, the background is Tama Art University Library (Hachioji campus). The reason why chosing this building, it is baceuse at the end of the model of WP2 is this library. Thus, in WP3 using this background for the projecting. It is just like Luffy finally fund his friends at the end of the journey.

KOWLOON CITY 1890’s: The Qing Government signed the Convention of Extension of Hong Kong Territory. Under this treaty, United Kingdom leased the land and islands south of the ShenZhen river for 99 years rent-free.
As early as in the Qin Dynasty (221 BC206 BCE), Kowloon City was famous for its pearl production. The government officials used to sell salt to the civilians here, and there even used to be an army stationed here in case a riot occurs since salt was considered to be a precious commodity.
1800’s: British invade Hong Kong Island, making the nearby garrison at the Walled City part of the most important defended border. Intending to hold the fort despite the lease of the New Territories to Britain under the Unequal Treaty.
1930’s: Since the Kowloon Walled City was excluded from the tready. From this point on, the Kowloon City became a land with ambiguous sovereignty, a city without a government,
Present: Kowloon Walled City Park sits on the site of the former Kowloon Walled City.
Kowloon Walled City (1847-1993) In British Administration, the autonomy of Kowloon Walled City was by the residents. In 1993, it was completely demolished. In 1995, it build in Kowloon Walled City Park in Kowloon Walled City Ruins.
1980’s: Kai Tak Airport was the international airport of Hong Kong from 1925 to 1998. In 2013, Kai Tak Airport developed to Kai Tak Crusi Terminal.
Kowloon City is an old district in Hong Kong. Other than the traditional Hong Kong-style restaurants that offer local dishes, there are numerous restaurants that offer Southeast Asian dishes like Thai, Vietnamese and Indonesian. Many Thai grocery stores can be found throughout this place, too. Due to the prevalence of Thai restaurants and stores as well as the population of Thai-speaking ethnic Chinese, Kowloon City is also known as “Hong Kong’s Little Thailand.”
THIS POSTER IS TO RE-VALUEIZE THE SITE LANDSCAPE - KOWLOON CITY INTO “IMMUTABLE & MUTABLE MOBILES”.

TASK 2: FLATSPACE 1 & 2 THAI COMFORD FOOD - THAI GRILLED PORK (MOO YNAG) This model due to Thai people busy lifestyles, “Snacking”. Generally, they eat three main meals a day just like the rest of the world. However, they have a habit of “Gin Len” (Snacking) between the meal. And this habit also same with Hong Kong people.
` Kowloon City is a place that as known as have been called “Little Thailand”. Thai people moved to Kowloon City in 1990s There are full of thai restaurants and the grocery.Base on the information of Kowloon City, the transient of this chapel is Thai People. In this chapel, there are three place, including “Place to Eat”, “Place to Dance”, and “Place to Feel”. The concept of this chapel is “WATER”. It is because rain means a lots to Thailand for their farming. Also, in Thai’s New Year water mean blessing to them. Location: 13 Inverness Rd, Kowloon City

A sailing club and a youth centre with conflicting requirements: the youth centre wanted outdoor space for the kids to play; the sailing club required most of the site to moor their boats. The building is the result of these two contradictory demands: The deck is elevated high enough to allow for boat storage underneath while providing an undulating landscape for the kids to run and play above.
The building has maintained the same position and orientation as the original, all the functions laid out around a central courtyard, which acts as entrance lobby and pivotal centre to the collections. This connection point is covered by a concave glass canopy with a reticular structure reminiscent of a spider’s web, open at the centre.
The presence of hard surfaces used on the interior is meant to contrast the wooden exterior, an inversion of what is commonly done (wooden interior, concrete and asphalt exterior). This is meant to reflect the dominance of outdoor activities of the youth house.
The Maritime Youth House has therefore gained an additional ‘room’ which IS the wooden deck - it supports all the centre’s programs, indoor and outdoor.

SPACE STUDY MODEL
TASK 4: INSCRIPTIONS
Those study model’s ideas come from the ‘Wave’ of water. In stage 1, the pattern of wave create space for the building. The height of the wave is base on the requirment of the space, e.g. the dancing room or exhibition area. But in this stage, the wave is not stramline. In stage 2, I use other material to create the stramline wave from. In the elevation, this model is more present the wave of the water. In stage 3, it put the former stage together, and this is the how the chapel created.

The Sustenance of Communities
Aim: Produce a Strategic re-design of a live project that includes passive and active design solutions to improve the sustainability of design solutions.
Task 1 - Ststainability in Strategy Improve the sustainable development approach of the design with following heading:
1. Orientation / Light / Solar Gain 2. Ventilation / Airtightness/Fabric 3. Thermal Mass and Cooling 4. Structure / and embodied energy 5. Sustainable Urban Drainage System 6. Habitat / Transport 7. Heating 8. Power Generation
Task 2 - Ststainability in Detail - Produce a detailed axonometric design of key junction to the building as specified in the design. - Establish the greenguide rating for the existing detail. - Select a 'A rated' specification appropriate to replacing the existing detail.
Task 3 - Ststainability in Community - Set out the scheme in detail of how people are expected to use the spaces and places with the scheme. (Private and Public Spaces) - Establish a series of design principle for Place Making. - Produce a series of illustrations of the journey of people through these spaces, as currently designed and as improved from your design principles.

Habitat/Transport Access Road to the Site
Location: Siu Hang Tsuen, Fanling, New Territories, Hong Kong The visitors can take the mini-bus, taxi or private vehicle from the Fanling MTR station to get into the site. Because of the site area have many narrow alleyways, the width alleyways not allow any vehicle to drive inside. So when the visitors arrive to the Siu Hang San Tsuen, they need to walk to the site.
For the existing transport method of the site, people usually take the taxi or private vehicle to get into the site. After parked the car or get off the taxi, they need to walk pass a narrow alleyways to the site location. An other way to get into the site is to take the private vehicle through the path at the back side of the site.
Private Vehicle Route Car-park Pavement
Proposed Method After have some research of the site area, it is the best way to add a path for the bike. Also, it can be using the path at the back side of the site to delivery the farm crops to the Fanling or other area of Hong Kong’s market for selling.

For the bicycle rack, it can be using the used pallet to create, which can be recycle the waste materials. Using bicycle for the transportation, it is better than the motorcycle. It can reduce the carbon emissions.

In this diagram shows the sun path Hong Kong, it shows that in summer time the degree of sun is hight, sunlight is directly projected in the roof of most of the building in Hong Kong. Therefore, design strategies must be taken in action because direct expose by the sunlight will incease the heat gai within a building and it consume more energy for cooling. the passive design such as green roofing is good to be cosidered for reduce the heat gain. During Winter time, the sunlight is projected from a lower angle, the passive design of shading device or double skin design is sutable for the Winte and Summer condition.
