It has high hardness, good toughness, and low breakage rate. And it's Chemical Composition is C 0.85-1.2% Si 0.40-1.2% Mn 0.60-1.2% P ≤0.05% S ≤0.05%.

It's Physical Performance is Density 7.2g/cm3 Hardness HRC41-45 Microhardness ≥550HV. Steel Shot S280 is widely used in shot peening and shot blasting, and derusting. It is suitable for all kinds of surface treatment.
