Nationwide Mobile Service From an Expert Team Steel & Tube’s team of 20 specialist mobile technicians are available to you onsite, anywhere in the country, no matter how remote. They love working with our customers offering great service, expert advice and tailored solutions. Our service vans are well equipped and fitted with a test bed suitable for proof loading items such as chain slings, chain blocks and other items.
Maintaining Your Equipment in Safe Working Order Our technicians maintain and repair lifting, rigging and lashing components, including disassembly and service of manual lifting hoists to ensure safe operation and maximum longevity. Height Safety items can be replaced, repaired or refurbished.
Manufacturing Services Our team offer a bespoke manufacturing service with chain slings made to your exact specifications using G80, G100, G120 alloy, or INOX G6 Stainless and our wide range of componentry. Wire ropes can be supplied with hard or soft eyes, and with terminations and fittings to suit your requirements. All manufactured items, where appropriate, are supplied with a new compliance tag and entered into your client register.
Test, Tag and Register. Entirely Traceable Great asset management means providing traceability for your Lifting, Rigging and Height Safety equipment. For each item tested we update our cloud-based client register with a unique ID, Item details, Load Rating and next Test Date, providing everyone with up-to-date records of compliance and due date reminders. We offer each client a login and 24/7 access to their own register, and the ability to download.
