“I attended the College on a bursary which I didn’t expect to get, as the odds were stacked against me, but my mother had complete faith that somebody would see my talents and give me the opportunity to thrive and that’s exactly what St Dunstan’s did with the Bursary Fund. I would like to contribute to giving that same opportunity to somebody else.

Baroness Brady Dinner
In January 2025, Baroness Karren Brady, more known for her role in The Apprentice TV series, gave us the honour of hosting a bursary fundraising dinner at The Athenaeum Club on Pall Mall. Major supporters of the College, both alumni and parents, attended the evening, which raised just over £10,000.
Thank you very much to everybody who attended the dinner and for your generosity!

OUR BESPOKE
Stained Glass window campaign
After 18 months of planning and thanks to the generosity of Dunstonian John Nightingale (‘63) for funding £15,000 of repairs, the iconic stained glass original window depicting the Patron Saint of the College was re-instated in all its glory. Deep repair work around the broken panels of Chaucer and Raphael was carried out and the stained glass now looks absolutely magnificent. We cannot thank John enough for his generous donation.

Our Year 13 Deposit Campaign
For the past six years, we have been asking our Year 13 parents to consider donating some or all of their deposit to the school.
OUR BURSARY ENDOWMENT FUND
An excellent education transforms lives...
Since the foundati on of St Dunstan’s in 1888, the College has always facilitated access to its unique educati on for local children from less affl uent background but with academic potenti al. There has been a resolute belief that assisted places serves as a key cornerstone for the school’s identi ty, for its charitable purpose and for improving social mobility.
Our aim is to raise £10 million by 2035, which will create a permanent endowment that can sponsor 20 children at the College at any one time.
The campaign has already gathered signifi cant momentum, with our fi rst million nearly reached. Do contact us if you can lend your support, connecti ng us to potenti al donors and getting behind the campaign as an active participant. Our next telephone campaign is scheduled for the summer of 2026 and we have high hopes that this will lend further weight to the endowment campaign.

Help Us Shape Young Lives...
Natasha (‘24)

Entering my first year as a Sixth Former at the College, I had a clear idea of what I didn’t mind doing, but it was the rich variety of academic clubs, societies, and the immersive teaching style that truly ignited my intellectual curiosity. This environment empowered me to explore my true passions and chart a path that resonated deeply with me. It was within this nurturing atmosphere that I delved into the disciplines of Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, discovering a profound interest that ultimately led to my acceptance of an offer to study PPE at the University of Oxford.
Throughout my journey at St Dunstan’s, I’ve had the privilege of being a recipient of a full bursary award. This invaluable financial support provided me with the freedom to embrace all the opportunities available, from academic pursuits to extracurricular activities.
“The bursary not only eased the financial burdens of my education but also empowered me to fully immerse myself in my studies, extracurricular passions, and community involvement. It’s through this support that I’ve been able to thrive academically, personally, and socially, and for that, I am profoundly grateful. The College’s commitment to supporting students who meet the academic criteria is truly remarkable; it demonstrates a dedication to ensuring that finances are not a barrier to an exceptional educational experience for those who seek it. St Dunstan’s exemplifies this commitment to the local community through the bursary fund, and I am inspired to know that the opportunities afforded to my curious mind will not be withheld from other children like me.
“ “
Natasha began studying PPE at Oxford University in September 2024

A BRIGHTER FUTURE THROUGH LEGACIES
For many, the years spent at school are some of the most significant and life-changing of times. This is particularly true at St Dunstan’s College whose vibrant community of past students, parents and teachers remain connected to the school, and are passionate about its continued success.
By giving a legacy gift to St Dunstan’s in your Will, you will be helping us to continue to give the best education to future students, and you will continue to be part of the St Dunstan’s story.
There are different types of gifts you can make in your Will, including giving
a specified amount or the remaining part of your estate after providing for your family and other responsibilities. Gifts that are free from restrictions are particularly helpful, allowing the College to invest wherever our need is greatest. Or you may wish your gift to support our bursaries programme to give opportunities to those

“Our daughter joined St Dunstan’s in Year 7 and has absolutely thrived. We were drawn to the school because of its values - and these values are truly lived out in the daily experiences the students have.We are in a privileged position to be able to give her such an experience, and we want to pay this forward, so donating to the bursary fund is very important to us, to contribute towards giving other children such amazing opportunities to flourish.
