End of Year Giving: Our St. Columba School

Annual Day of Giving is coming up on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.

The Day of Giving/Annual Campaign is the cornerstone of all giving and supports the ongoing day-to-day operational expenses of the school. If you prefer to make your gift at the end of this year, we will direct your donation toward the Day of Giving and you will still be able to enjoy the tax benefits this year. Please drop off or mail your donation to St. Columba School, 1801 E. 3rd Ave., Durango, CO, 81301.

Business sponsorships are also available. If you would like to make a gift or sponsorship through other methods, please contact giving@stcolumbaschooldurango.org. More information on our Day of Giving will be shared soon. Thank you for your commitment to ensuring the vitality of our mission and its impact on the educational experiences of our students.

End of 2nd Quarter

It’s hard to believe that the end of the 2nd quarter is already less than two weeks away. The official last day of the quarter is Friday, January 17th. Remember that Preschool-8th grade will have early dismissal on 1/16 @ 11:30 for a teacher workday and will not have school on 1/17 for end of the quarter professional development.

Please remember that you can always check your student’s grades and assignments in Blackbaud. Please reach out to the office if you need help with login information.

Prayer & Praise Assembly

Families are invited to join us for our next Prayer & Praise assembly on Thursday, January 9th, at 8:15.

This month’s assembly will include lessons from Fr. John and Mr. Chick introducing this month’s Friendzy theme. We will also be recognizing our St. Columba award winners for those that have gone above and beyond expectations this month.

January Lunch Menu

January’s Lunch Menu is now available for your convenience. All gluten free options are noted and the menu can always be found on our website, on the St. Columba School App under parent quicklinks, and under the calendar tab on Blackbaud.

During Catholic Schools Week, we will be having student favorite lunches each day that were voted on by our middle schoolers.

2nd Semester Lunch Plans

Thank you to those that have already filled out this lunch form! If you haven’t already, please complete the form HERE for any K-8 students that will be purchasing school lunches. If you do not submit a form, the lunch selections you made at the beginning of the year will be used for the second semester. St. Columba Parish Living Stones Capital Campaign Update

We are filled with gratitude for the generous, positive response to our capital campaign.

Knowing the three-year commitments of our community members will help us embark on the next steps of the planning process as soon as possible. May God bless you with abundance for your stewardship of these important campus improvements!
