Big upgrades are coming to Whitney Sports Complex to enhance your experience! Improvements include a new 8-court pickleball complex, repaved parking lots for smoother access, an enhanced trail system for better connectivity, upgraded field lighting for improved visibility, and a new playground. How to Reserve a Park Shelter
All Reservation requests must be submitted through our portal Please see the links to the right for availability and to make a reservation request. If reserving for an organization, you must create the CivicRec account as an “individual” account type instead of “organization ” Organization accounts will not allow you to reserve a facility or create a login to be able to pay for your rental once approved. Once an online reservation request has been made, a staff member will review your request and either adjust or approve your rental Once approved, you will receive an email with a link to pay your balance within 10 business days. Don’t have skates? Thanks to donations from local businesses, community groups, and residents, we have a variety of ice skates available for free use during warming shelter hours, though we can’t guarantee all sizes We also have skate trainers, broomball equipment, and hockey nets available for free checkout - you will be asked to provide your name, phone number, and a form of ID as a temporary hold while using the equipment.

How do I know if I need a permit for my event in a City of St. Cloud park?
Your event is a special event and requires a permit if your event involves:
More than 50 people (both private and open to the public events)
Any exhibit, music or dramatic performance, motion picture, fair, circus, concert, play, radio or television broadcast, other than a news transmission
Creating or emitting any amplified sound, except from a radio, recorder, or other device possessed and used by an individual and operated in such a manner as to not interfere with the use and enjoyment by another person
Putting up any tent/canopy or tables
Putting up a bounce house/inflatable
Selling or offering for sale of any goods or services
Bringing, landing, or causing to ascend or descend or alight any airplane, helicopter, flying machine, balloon, parachute, or other apparatus for aviation
Conducting any organized sporting event

Can I reserve picnic tables in a City of St. Cloud park?
Unless inside a reservable park shelter (Riverside, Wilson, and Lions Parks), all picnic tables in City of St Cloud parks are first-come, first served
Are park permits and/or park shelter reservations refundable?
Our cancelation policy is as follows:
If a reservation is canceled 30 or more calendar days before the event, the total fee will be refunded, minus a $16.00 Administrative Fee.
If a reservation is canceled and fewer than 30 days remain before the event, only 50% of the total fee will be refunded, minus a $16 00 Administrative Fee Day-of event cancelations due to severe weather only are subject to review by the Park and Recreation Director for any refunds.

Can I have alcohol at my event?
Alcohol is prohibited in all City of St. Cloud parks, except as permitted below:
Riverside, Wilson, and Lions Parks: Beer or wine packaged only in is original glass free container will be allowed Keg beer is allowed at Wilson and Riverside when permitted by section 236:15, subd. 16. Keg beer is not allowed at Lions Park. Absolutely no hard liquor or glass
Whitney Park: Beer or wine may be consumed at Whitney Park if they were first purchased from the vendors located at that facility or when permitted by section 236:15. subd. 17.
Lake George: Alcoholic beverages may not be consumed, possessed in the Lake George Complex or anywhere on Eastman Park grounds except as pursuant to a temporary on-sale liquor license that has been granted pursuant to section 810:05.
Can I camp in a City of St. Cloud park?
Camping is prohibited in all City of St Cloud parks - this includes tents, shacks, or any other temporary shelter for the purpose of overnight camping.
