St Clare’s Dress Up Day
Due to COVID-19 restrictions the dress up component for St Clare’s Day was postponed to Wednesday 4 November. Students and staff came dressed up to the theme “2020…what could have been.” Lots of students and staff came dressed in their holiday attire; with students dressing up as fans of bands; the dates for their formal; Olympians; construction workers for the Learning Commons and we even had our own “Clare of A-sea-sea” P&O Cruise ship. Students also had the opportunity to purchase Goodberry’s and pizza at lunchtime.
Year 7 PC's were given the challenge to run the traditional raffle fundraiser but in COVID style. Our amazing Pastoral Care Captains encouraged their classes to bring in and donate gifts for their themed baskets. This began in Term 3 and we were able to present an impressive package of goods for the ten pastoral groups. The themes were as followed: • KJAM 1 - Aussie Treats • KJAM 2 - Kid's Delight • KJAM 3 - Seasonal Sweets • KJAM 4 - Colour Crazy • KJAM 5 - Sports Mania • UWWW 1 - Movie Magic • UWWW 2 - Land of Lollies • UWWW 3 - Pamper Pack • UWWW 4 - Scholastic
Stationary • UWWW 5- Chocoholics
All of the tickets were sold in the Kindness Corner each lunch during Week 3 and into Week 4 with the raffle being drawn on the Dress Up Day. Well done to all the Year 7 students who raised over $1,300 for our College Charities. Thank you to Ms Beth McArthur for coordinating the event and to the College for supporting Year 7!
