WOMEN AND INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT Are you passionate about other cultures and fighting inequities? Do you want to sharpen your analytical skills? Would you like to advocate for marginalized communities around the world, especially women and their families? At St. Catherine University, we know that when you invest in women, you invest in a whole community. This program examines why and how that’s true. Here, in one of the most diverse private colleges in the state, you’ll learn to use economic, social, cultural, and political structures to understand the process of developing a just society and women’s crucial role. You and your advisor will tailor courses to find an interdisciplinary curriculum reflecting your passions, and preparing you for an exciting career in contexts such as government agencies, non-profit foundations and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and private development initiatives.
