STAY magazines mantra is Fashion, Art, Music & Lifestyle all over the world !I had the honor of escaping to Costa Rica before the onslaght of the Covid 19 Pandemic. I came across a really dope company that specialized in hosting amazing Power shoots with some of the most stunning models and celebrity photographers from around the world! !

I heard so many fabulous things about Costa Rica and i was blown away by its beauty! I had to go, it was the prfect place to shoot my crochet swimwear & resortwear !

Models such as @nataliadavisofficial < @linnymaess & @lizzyacosta weren't just beautiful but they were bosses traveling the world and looking beautiful while doing it!. The property was beyond incredible & the Glam squad was top notch.

Part of what makes traveling the world so exquisite is the food. I visited a popular restaurant called "Mad Fish " www.madfisgcr.com located in San Rafael, Escazu, Costa Rica.

Spring has come upon us and even though the last year has been extremely unexpected and, for a lack of word, disappointing, the seasons’ fashion has been brought into a bright light. Spring fashion is the time to become creative and colorful without becoming uncomfortable and flashy-just simply stylish.

The latest fashion trends in beautiful Costa Rica truly stand out with their color scheme, accessories, and outfits. Solid colors add a ‘pop’ to a spring outfit and help it stand out. A collard top makes the cut of a Costa Rica spring fashion trend. Tops can come in many forms- collard without sleeves button-down, or slightly puffy sleeves for air circulation with a sinched writs.

The style is without a doubt quite comfortable and well worn as casual wear with a hint of sophistication, without it being too flashy.

Bottoms can go either way. The most common would be shorts-specifically white jeans. Finding a stretchy material for white jeans would be a plus as it helps with movement and comfortability. You want to be moving around while rocking a look, right? If you’re not feeling shorts, then some white capris pants work with the look as well. Match them with a pair of flats or even a pair of high heels/wedges if you’re feeling more chic.

If you’re not feeling collard shirts or white jeans, then flowy skirts and tank tops are for you. Stick with long skirts with a fun pattern or design.

Multicolored skirts are even better and you don’t have to try so hard with matching your tank top when you can keep it simple and easy. Light-colored tanks are key- the bottom portion of your outfit is the star of the show.

For this Costa Rica spring season, accessories are your friend! Adding them to your outfit will complete the whole look- gold or silver bangles, oversized necklaces (preferring to the pendant), rings of any kind. As long as you’re not stacking accessories into piles, you’ll have a nice touch to your Costa Rican spring fashion.

I had the honor of interviewing Tracy Rikard Owner/Creator of the Naked Face Cosmetics brand everyone needs in their life. STAY Magazine had a few questions we had to ask. Her answers are sure to inspire.

How was your brand created ?

The products were created because I had hyperpigmentation and sun damage and my dermatologist recommended that I exfoliate up to twice a day. Not all products are gentle enough for that kind of frequency. She recommended that I find my own mixture that worked well for me. I started reading and experimented with different formulas until I found something that worked well. That lead to wanting a moisturizer that I could use all over.

Additionally, I wanted products that I knew what was in them and could pronounce the names. I wanted products with no artificial ingredients, preservatives, etc..so our products are all natural, organic, vegan and clean – you can pronounce every ingredient. Both The Best Face/Body Crème and Scrub was designed and formulated to use on both your face and body to minimize the amount of products needed to exfoliate and moisturize. The Best Hair Crème was created for some of the same reasons, I have dry hair and wanted not to use some of the hair products out there because of what’s in them. The Hair Crème can be used on all types of hair – I use it daily, for my scalp and directly on my hair, however it can also be used as aa hair mask prior to shampoo. We are also finding that men love it as a beard crème.

How did you get your start in the industry?

I had a personal need for the type of products I developed.

When others gave me compliments on my skin, and asking what I was using, I would give them samples, from that I started getting requests for orders – and encouragement to start a business featuring these products.
